房間蠻新的，但是比較像民宿比起酒店的話，所以服務肯定沒有5⭐️酒店那麼好，但是價格直逼5⭐️。最滿意的是客廳和温泉，房間馬馬虎虎吧。我覺得更適合幾個朋友出遊那種行程吧。不過這附近也沒什麼新酒店了，去地獄谷核志賀高原都挺方便的，反正綜合來看都挺不錯的。餐食也不錯的。

房間非常舒適乾淨，床品也是非常棒。冰箱有免費飲料果汁和啤酒，並且每天免費補齊。別墅的私湯也很好，非常舒適、私密性強，我們衹預訂了早飯，有日式和西式可公選擇，（不是自助餐形式）。別墅位置方便，距離地獄谷公園走路幾分鐘就到，離巴士站也是2分鐘的距離，去雪場滑雪非常方便。總之是個很好的酒店，如果錢不是問題，強烈推薦了。
如果説唯一的缺陷就是：如果玩兒長野其他地方，那麼需要有交通工具去到長野，然後再繼續前往了。我們選擇了公交，大約1小時到長野。
另外如果坐電鐵到湯田中站，下車有點兒懵逼。問了半天，才知道車站對面有個小房子可以調度出租車，3.5公里，1700日元。
已經給酒店建議了應該留下酒店郵箱以便更好溝通，目前平台衹提供了日本電話，誰會打國際長途問怎麼到達呢？我不會，也沒打，因為即使酒店告訴你，你也是懵逼，不知所雲。

Hotarutei is incredible. My husband and I stayed in one of the villas in April 2025 for one night based on a Reddit recommendation. It was the most money we’ve spent for one night accommodation, but in hindsight, the price was worth it. The villas are spacious, beautiful, and in the perfect location for seeing the snow monkeys. The bus we took from Kyoto dropped us off right in front of the villa. The villa itself is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. I loved the drinks, local ice cream, pajamas, and everything else provided. The private onsen was a dream! We had the set course dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast, and everything was so fresh and delicious. The dinner was Michelin quality. Joyce and the rest of the staff are very kind, warm, and accommodating! We are so happy we stayed at Hotarutei. It is the best place we stayed in Japan, and in the world! It was an incredible experience and we can’t wait to return someday.

Our family of 3 stayed one night and wishes we spent more nights here. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby, Joyce and staff gave us a very warm welcomed treatment. We got there very early, so they provided us a private space to relax and enjoy some fresh apple juice and tea. Our room was ready before the official check-in time. We stayed at Villa A. It was very spacious and well decorated. There are two rooms, kitchen, and washing machines. The private outdoor onsen felt magical among the snow. Our Kaiseki dinner was one of the best meals we had. Breakfast was also amazing! The best part is their customer service. Everyone was very friendly and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience. The villa location is only 5 minutes walking distance to the snow monkeys park. Highly recommend.

Staying at Hotarutei was a highlight of our Japan trip and a memory we will always cherish! The villas are beautiful, spacious, and located within walking distance of the Snow Monkey park. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic. Joyce, Iris, Yuka, and Azu were all incredibly kind and provided top-notch service and wonderful hospitality. A perfect stay! Look no further and book here!
