Yueshan Youth Hostel (Yangshuo Xingping Ancient Town Branch) recensioner

Nothing fancy. Maybe check out one of the other hostels as they seem to make a better impression from outside. This one definitely looks better on photos than in reality. However, for the price still acceptable.

Great hostel, the best bunk beds and bathroom that I found in China. 3 minutes walk from the bus station. Common areas are super relaxing (thanks to XiXi too 👀)

Foriegners: Add owners to wechat by copy number and add contact in wechat with phone number. (Make sure it the mobile number) I ended up staying here for nearly a week! The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk into the old town. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable.The little dog is adorable. There is a bar and plenty of space to laze around. The hosts are friendly and patient. They cooked me dinner on my last night. I will definitely stay here again. There is some construction work in the street, but that is to be expected in the low season.

Dirty linen in dorm, I was alone in the room and rest of the beds was not ready for use. Toilet very dirty.

I never write reviews but for this hostel I had to. It was definitely the best hostel in China so far. The team is so nice and they organize trips which you can join if you want. We even made hot pot🤩. They speak basic English which is very convenient. I can highly recommend it when you’re in Xingping!

(我是外国人）very good value for money & comfortable beds！If you want to live in the city center on a small budget this is definitely the place for you. The dormitory I chose had 10 beds but the room is huge & there are 2 bathrooms so it does not feel overcrowded at all! The beds are really comfortable & there is a nice view from the window. Next time, I will rather chose a house outside of the city center, but if you are spending 1 or 2 nights only this might be the best choice!

In the centre of Xingping, so the location is great. Staff is not really concerned, but that's alright.

Rooms are spacious but cold since she’d to heat up such large rooms. Luckily the duvet is very warm. No toilet paper in washroom. The staff take up all of the social area/ like the couches so you don’t really feel like sitting in the area. Staff aren’t always present or approachable so can’t really ask questions. The dog is ADORABLE, probably one of the best parts. Close to the bus station.

Good hostel. Stayed only for one night and was happy to find a place where I could wash my clothes. The room was regular hostel-like dorm with a daily cleaning.

Excellent location and excellent staff

Good location of 100m from Bus Terminal, right at main Entrance of Old Ancient Town, in area of streets of restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets etc. Hostel is of good vibe for travellers with sofa area, BBQ pit, dining tables etc. Hostel unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, AC room unit, access card for female dorm, shampoo, clean sheets, water dispenser and hairdryer. Host is responsive to text messages, safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend!
