Absolutely lovely room in the centre of Xingping ancient town. The woman at the front desk was so lovely and could speak English. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Xingping!

This is not your ordinary home stay. I would say it’s a 5 star Luxury boutique (smaller class) hotel. I honestly was so surprised by the beautiful room and the amount of amenities the hotel has. My room had a view of the Guilin mountains and it just steps away from the ancient town. The room has all the amenities a 5 star hotel in the room. It is clean and quiet. Rachel the owner is soooo nice and helpful. This is one of the best hotels I stayed at! 5 star quality! Love from New York City

Our highest praise! Staff Rachel speaks English, she was extremely helpful and friendly (like other staff). Great location - along Ancient Town market alley way looking up at pagoda on Laowozai Hill and ending at docks. Short walk to 20 Yuan image view spot on the river. Excellent room on top floor - fantastic view of mountains to north-west, bath tub, room-specific wifi, second bed up on loft, hot water, AC. Simple but delicious English breakfast that our kids enjoyed. Thank you, we would come back in a second!!

Pros: - good location in the heart of the xinping tourist street amidst preserved shophouses etc. - quiet and peaceful, well managed by the team - nice amenities and toiletries provided - room is clean tidy and well designed - water pressure of shower was amazing - cute dog and cats on site. Friendly and don’t make a commotion. - lady boss is helpful and ready with advice etc Cons: - view wasn’t greater & not like the pictures online.There was a giant white rectangle block of hotel(?) in the middle of our window view. - wifi is non-existent at our top floor room - breakfast was western style with congee. While not bad tasting, was average and frankly disappointing. Chinese breakfast would have been nice.

I had the best stay here!! The room was perfect, with an amazing view and great bath and bathroom facilities. Breakfast was great and location was spot on. I had read a review before I booked that if you are staying in Xingping this is the place to stay, and I 100% agree.

The room is not that big but very cozy and clean. The staff is friendly and nice. There’s the buffet breakfast and very good coffee. There’re many good cafes and coffee shops around. The surrounding is quite and peaceful. Very close to some beautiful locations and 20 yuan scenic areas. And the hotel is cats and dogs friendly that admired me so much! Thanks

If you’re visiting Xingping, this is the hotel to book. Rachel, the owner, is the sweetest. She was very helpful and flexible. She is also knowledgeable about the bus back to Guilin airport or Longji rice terrace. The hotel is located in Xingping old town. Check in was fast and easy. The room is very clean and new. The room had everything I needed and more! It was very cozy. After a day or running along the river and hiking up the Laozhai hill, it was so nice to come back to the cozy room. There are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was a little bit of western and Chinese. I highly recommend this hotel.
