It was clean and very good located, close to the center but also next to the bus station. Regarding amenities, you can wash for free and they send you in the beginning a guide on what to do which was very useful for me

Room is very clean and the service is excellent. The staff are super super nice. Arranged us fun local tours and adventures, can meet a lot of backpackers there to hangout with!! Definitely recommend!!

I stayed here for one night. Initially, I thought I was going to Yangshuo, but I'm happy I stayed in Xingping instead. The hostel is nice and they have the most comfortable bed I slept in, in china, really soft and nice. I also got lots of useful information from the innkeeper, which helped me decide what I was doing while in there. I also used the washing machine and drying machine, which was really needed and worked perfectly fine. Very positive experience, would recommend staying here.

Good value for money, comfortable bed and the air-conditioning was neither too warm nor too cold . I was only there for one night, but the common area seemed nice. Quiet place and I slept well. The bathroom could maybe be a little more clean, although this is the problem when you are sharing with a room full of people. The guy at the reception was helpful - helped me order a cheaper taxi to go to Yangshuo, the price was very good. Be aware that the toilet and shower is next to each other and it's a squat toilet - common here but foreigners might not be used to it. Would stay again if I come back, it's one of the better hostels in the region.

The place is past its former glory, but well located. The owner will give you travel tips if you speak Mandarin. The rooms are OK for the price and have air conditioner.

Amazing hostel. 4 minute walk from bus station and ancient old town. Good access to activities in the area and information can be obtained from the hostel. Quick and easy check in and manager spoke English and able to explain everything we needed. Bar and drinks available on site and food can be purchased additionally. Room was 4 person dorm, 3 of us in there. Squat toilet (not sure if every room has a squat but for those who struggle with this, I would check). Plenty of food and shops within 2 minute walk. Great communal space downstairs, chilled vibes. We loved it

Great hostel, big room, good location. Bit noisy because they are building some new hotels in the street. Really friendly staff, they send you all recommendations for hiking in the area.

Staying at this hostel was an excellent decision! I enjoyed the location and atmosphere very much. The staff members were kind and very helpful — especially in planning out activities and adventures in Yangshuo. I hope to stay there again!

Excellent choice for a stay in Xingping if you fancy a little side trip from Yangshuo. Very easy to do on the bus. Can’t fault the place. Highly recommended

We had a lovely stay here. Big, clean, comfortable room in a good location and mountain views. Free self service laundry was very handy. I would have preferred a western toilet to the squat toilet but no big deal

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hostel has a great design and atmosphere. Room was a good size, clean, comfortable bed with curtains, and the ensuite bathroom and balcony were very good additions. Communal area wasn't busy but had a nice comfortable atmosphere. Great location, only a minute walk from the bus station, 2 minutes from food street and 5 minutes from the viewpoint of the Li River. They do provide meals for an extra cost (but I didn't try them so can't comment). Definitely recommend staying in Xingping for at least one night to see sunset/sunrise over the river, very beautiful. Great hostel, would definitely stay again.
