Lykia Botanika Beach Fun & Club - All Inclusive

I have to say...this was the most amazing holiday my family and I could have experienced. After reading the negative reviews a week before we were set to arrive we were more than apprehensive about our holiday...however immediately on arrival we realised we had nothing to worry about. Every single staff member were amazing- from the cleaners who kept us loaded up with towels daily, to the entertainment team who made our children feel like family, to the bar staff who became our best friends (knowing my partner's drink order before he even opened his mouth and making our 4 year old daughter feel special with her 'rainbow drink') to the amazing waiter in the restaurant who was always full of smiles and accommodated our every need, to the customer relations team who went above and beyond in sorting our room to be decorated amazingly for our daughter's birthday...we cannot fault anyone! The reception team were fantastic and always there to help if needed. There were a couple of things that may have come across negative...being the cups and plates from lunch times sometimes being left around for a while and the state of the communal toilets... however my partner and I felt that some guest at the hotel took advantage of the fact it was all inclusive and expected full on maid service...it doesn't hurt to put your own dirty dishes into the designated areas which were all around the hotel and cleaned often and to use toilets appropriately. We spoke to many of the staff team and every single one were wonderful. The food was wonderful...the amenities were absolutely fantastic...the kids pool for our youngest was a massive hit...the middle pool was brilliant for our 15 year old and my partner who loved the slides (which were manned by lifeguards who ensured they were used correctly) to the main pool which had fantastic entertainment and additional activities like water polo (which my son and partner absolutely loved) and water exercise classes. The onsite spa was beautiful and well worth a visit. The kids club was honestly fantastic. I had never dreamed if using a kids club while on a family holiday however after meeting Freya, who was an absolutely beautiful human and made our daughter feel very special and safe, we used it most days to give out daughter a break from the sun and to not feel like she was missing out. Freya always went above and beyond to make our daughter feel content and us aswell. Even going as far as creating a 'drop off train' to return the children to their parents once kids club had finished. We found that our room was far from dated...kept very clean and the use of space was perfect for 4 in one room. The private beach was absolutely stunning. The walk there was nothing we had ever experienced before and well above our expectations. Without a child who wanted to look at everything and anything, it would take 7 minutes maximum. Fantastic location. The entertainment is top quality and has something for everyone. The food is great and varied and my girlfriend and I have had a fantastic 5 nights with a welcoming and warm hosts. The staff are friendly and polite without being pushy (which is important for a brit!) We really appreciated the communication they gave us and the helpful nature that they all have. Welcoming, warm and wonderful stay. 5/5 would and will stay again. Adar, Ekrem and Burcu were fabulous and knew I won talent competition

We have just returned from our family holiday to this hotel, we were a little apprehensive reading the terrible reviews lately but I can assure you the hotel, facilities, food and staff are excellent! The pools and slides are great, there is something for kids of all ages now they have added more, there is no real waiting for the kids they are straight on everything they want to even in the summer holidays! Having access to the beach with a bar and snack bar is a massive bonus and really helps with making the hotel not feel too overcrowded, even in peak season. Food and drink is absolutely fantastic, great choices of tasty food every night with great desserts too! One waiter in particular went the extra mile every night, ensuring you had a table if he saw you looking and literally running around to keep up and ensure everyone is looked after. The bar staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make whatever drink you want, having ice tea, milkshakes, ice coffee etc available all day too not just your standard cheap drinks is a massive plus! The entertainment team are fantastic, very friendly and engaging, going out of their way to engage with the children and parents, couldn’t fault them at all and they deserve a special mention! If there is one slight downside it is the level of cleanliness in the rooms with the daily housekeeping, they room was fine when we arrived but the daily cleaning must have been very brief and could have done to be more thorough - floors weren’t really swept etc. also, the communal areas near the rooms need to be cleared and cleaned more regularly with drinks and plates sometimes being left for a long time before clearing! Overall we have had a fantastic holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to return, if the housekeeping and communal landings were kept a little better this would without doubt be a 5 star review.

This hotel was lovely and full of staff that are continually trying to make your time there more enjoyable. Pedo the hotel activities guy was great, very down to earth and fun, every day he was trying to get people involved in activities and seemed to get a good reception of everyone. The spa is lovely!! I would highly recommend a bronze package massage. I had one with Mary and it’s the best I’ve ever had in my life! The shop is a little pricy but if you walk down the road down from the hotel there is a store there that is a lot more reasonable. (This is pretty standard for hotels though) The beach is okay, it’s quite unclean although this is very much down to tourists! The staff are always picking up after them!! There is a beach close by called chalis beach that is 500lira to get a taxi to that has loads and shops and restaurants. You can just ask at reception for them to call you a taxi and they come within 2 minutes. The food was okay, the salads and breads were lovely but the meat wasn’t that great. I think that they would benefit from using more quality meat although this wasn’t the case every day. My partner enjoyed the chicken wings in particular! Eating meat abroad isn’t really my thing. The pancake lady had ques every day! Her pancakes were sooo good! You get to choose what you have in them too which is a bonus. The room was lovely and clean. We had it cleaned every day and fresh towels and clean bed linen. Overall I would defiantly recommend this hotel. I think it would be a shame for someone to put up a bad review when the staff here try so hard and seem genuinely lovely!

Lovely place to go , staff friendly and helpful, especially management team they all amazing and speak English shout out to Zafer for helping us with all the issues without him we might of missed our flight back to Uk as our representative never told us when to be picked up from hotel. Try to avoid her Funda not friendly or helpful at all ! Entertainment team was good , just more activities will be better ! Osman definitely the best as he can speak all languages there and very entertaining and energetic person . Only downside to cleanliness room never clean to the 4* standards and things missing in room every day . Food was good . Definitely recommend this place for families.
