Missed my original Birthday booking and went some weeks later.Imagine my surprise to see our table set up for my Birthday and my dessert served with 2 candles. Such wonderful staff and excellent food. Thank you all for making our visit special as always.

Amazing lunch to celebrate a missed birthday. Very impressed with the beautiful and friendly staff this was lunchtime 30th January. Food was homecooked and well presented and tasty . Service above and beyond. Mostly oldies like us but staff very attentive with everyone. They bought out desert with some candles and decorated the table. Hope to return soon as deserves all the custom it gets. Well done to the staff and chef and manager.

Booked & checked in online which was very easy but to check in online you will need your drivers license or passport information so have this to hand. On arrival I found the staff very friendly and helpful and got shown to the room quickly and efficiently. They had 3 really good well kept real ales and a variety of really good lagers and ciders. Everything was spotlessly clean the food was excellent what more cld you ask with really friendly staff with a warm greeting

Had an absolutely wonderful meal with my wife at the QSM. Great value for premium level food. The staff (today we were looked after by Carol and Edita) are really kind, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to customise our meals to our preferences. Would highly recommend.

We had my girlfriends birthday here at the weekend I can't even describe how disappointed I was with the food. 2 plates of sandwiches 1plate of sausage rolls, 1 dish of cocktail sausages, 1 plate of samosas,1 plate of onion barges which were overly cooked, 3 dishes of nibbles, 1 plate of chicken strips and you charged me £450 at £10 a head. I would not recommend anyone to have a function there at the prices they charged for what we got. Especially as the food was taken away half way through the evening we had paid for that so it should have stayed to the end! We were told when we booked it was your food or no food which is fair enough but for what we had was disgusting for the price! We have pictures of the food if necessary!

Pleasant reception at bar. Taken up to room on first floor (stairs awkward - especially with a case). Room seemed OK and if milk needed it was in kitchen adjacent. Bedroom relatively small but adequate, bed a bit creaky but otherwise comfortable. Nice big walk in shower but very low showerhead so not ideal for anyone over 6ft. Breakfast not available and if evening meal required had to be ordered by 7pm as restaurant fully booked. Went out to see what was in Yeovil and ended up eating elsewhere on first night. Did not find out until returning on second day that there was no room service, however managed to get clean towels as nowhere to dry them. Ate in restaurant second night see separate review.
