Aliathon Resort

Had 10 days at Aliathon Resort, our third time and it just gets better. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and the senior manager is extremely professional and helpful, but also accommodating when spoken with. Can't fault this resort, accommodation is spacious and clean, food selection is second to none. They cater for everyone. We love the cats on the resort, very friendly and it just adds that specialty to the holiday. 28 degrees so weather was just great. With access to the pool, which I have to say is kept immaculate by the pool guy. Overall great family destination and look forward to going back. Thank you all at Aliathon.

Not only did we have the most amazing family holiday ever but we also had the most beautiful wedding too. If anyone is thinking about getting married here then I completely recommend it. Tracey, the wedding coordinator was brilliant! As for the resort… I would come back here in a heartbeat. It’s perfect for families and even couples who like a more lively resort, they swim up rooms would be perfect for you! Special shout out to the manager Giannis! He really does go above and beyond to make everyone happy and make the place run like a dream. Now to get over the double whammy of wedding blues and holiday blues!

Had a lovely week holiday at the aliathon resort. The pool, the HV reps, and most of the staff really make this resort fabulous and why I have given 5/5. Firstly the pool. If you have children under 12 the pool and splash pool are fantastic. You can wade in a long way before my 8 year old could no longer stand up. There is a separate pool that is deeper. There is a sun bed situation, with people reserving at 5am!!!!. Presume most hotels these days experience this issue but we never struggled, just didn’t always have the “ideal spot”. It becomes mildly frustrating when people are then simply not on the sun beds for extended periods of time. The lifeguard in the splash pool was great, as is the bar man! Both very friendly and welcoming. The HV reps. There is so much to do we didn’t fit it all in! I was lucky enough to bump into Lucas on my first day who told me everything I needed to know about booking onto things. Went out of his way to book activities on our behalf so we didn’t miss out when the box office was closed and even remembered my birthday! He’s very funny and talented and was a pleasure to meet him Saskia & Emily - what can I say!! My girls’ adored you and thoroughly loved stage school. The effort you put into making it so much fun - massive thanks and credit to you both Tim, Chloe, Tag, and many others who’s name I didn’t catch! Thank you so much for the fun and energy. Always looked forward to seeing you guys around (loved the paddle boarding, high ropes and magic tricks!) The whole team were all always smiling, having a great time and always making time to talk! Really made a difference and always felt genuine. They work sooooooo hard! In the spirit of writing an unbiased review there were a few negatives Accommodation. Stayed in the fishing village in a 1 bedroom family apartment. This was probably the most disappointing part, and this is potential an issue with TUI rather than the resort. The room was not as advertised and too small for 2 adults and 2 children of 8&11. The hotel did their absolute best to change our room and I want to say a huge thank you for that. Miss Ellen and Giannis went above and beyond. The apartments are a little dated but very clean. Pillows are rubbish and the sofa beds / childrens pull out could do with a mattress topper. Reception and welcome We arrived at 10pm and didn’t receive the best welcome. We were handed a piece of paper and instructed to fill out a form with our passport details with nowhere to sit no “how was your flight” or offer of a drink. That to me, travelling with my mum and 2 children was a poor start. The reception gave us little to no information and assured us there would be food in the room for us. There was not. That was resolved after requesting. We only learned on day 4 about the Al la carte and how to book, which meant we missed the opportunity to eat at any other than the buffet which was disappointing.
