Fitosinn Hotel

This is a lovely little hotel with 20 rooms. The rooms are basic but they are en-suite with hairdryer, wardrobes, tea/coffee and balcony with sun beds. If you can see beyond the quintisential simplicity you will see a small hotel with a heart. A small staff that wears many hats to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast was included in our stay so we ordered omlette and scambled eggs. Our lovely hostess Alena (so sorry if this is not spelt correctly) cooked these perfectly and we were super happy. She is a gem. This review is not really based on the rooms but the staff. Fabulous. Well done Fitos.

Warm and hospitable family run small hotel. Exceptionally good value for money bed and breakfast. Evening meals from a menu with good choices including, but not confined to, traditional Cypriot dishes. Swimming Pool shallow and cool, but a refreshing dip on hot days!

We stayed for a night prior to leaving the island. Our welcome from Rita was excellent who offered a choice of rooms, but what struck us was the cleaner interrupting and dashing into the room between us all, just odd. At one point there were four us in a bedroom!.... The room we took had a pool view and was comfortable with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was dated with a climb over bath to take a shower. AC was good as was the fridge. The cleaner was still outside our room when we went down to the pool and really had far too much to say for herself.I thought she was trying to undermine Rita,which is not professional or what any manager requires of a cleaner. The pool unfortunately had 2 noisy families who continually jumped in the pool and ran around, it spoiled the environment. Staff ignored this even though pool rules 'confirm no running no jumping'. The bar area is nice,but the menu choices are limited,not sure why they put tablecloths on for burgers and pizzas,its unnecessary. Breakfast was poor and very basic. The cleaner hosted the breakfast and was sarcastic and unpleasant to my partner. Breakfast offerings were very cheap and poor quality, she offered eggs to me,although when brought out they weren't cooked properly. Tea and coffee and juice were all poor and bread processed. This was all very disappointing. The cleaner also cleans the pool area along with the rooms and she decided to hose the pool area down after the noisy local families had left and whilst guests were still sunbathing. She really didn't care and had a bad attitude to guests. She washed dirty water down into the pool whilst my partner was swimming and smirked. We won't be staying here again, whilst I can accept dated accommodation I will not accept a bad attitude from a cleaner who displayed and resented international guests. She was sitting behind reception when we left on her phone as if she owned the place & maybe she does who knows,because there was no sign of the owner at any time.

The property is quite isolated with nothing close by other than industrial areas. The room we had was a good size with two comfortable double beds and a balcony with table and chairs and sun loungers all of which needed a deep clean. The bathroom was dated with a climb over bath to have a shower.it was very slippy. Risha checked us in was friendly and professional, she also ran the bar. Breakfast was not great, there was little choice and most appliances weren't switched on,eg juicer,egg maker etc. A small continental selection was laid out,with the cleaner running the service. It was a bit off putting when she used a dustpan and brush on the tables where the food was laid out. She monitored what we ate constantly and eventually asked my partner did he want eggs,she didn't ask me. He said yes,he would and went on to say i would too. She looked at me looked at my plate and said "oh you too!" She made me feel very uncomfortable. She went on to say very sarcastically "suppose you want a full English", she was very rude. No thanks an egg please, what i got was 2 pices of undercooked slimey bacon and 2 snotty eggs!.…..on white processed sliced bread. It was awful! Coffee was terrible and the whole breakfast atmosphere poor. The pool area had plenty of sun loungers and noisy children all day long cannonballing in it, ignoring every pool rule and generally making a nuisance of themselves. Only when they got out to eat did we get a swim in. Hotel staff ignored this behaviour and it spoiled our stay. The cleaner decided to hose the pool area at 6pm when we and other guests were still sunbathing and enjoying a bit of peace from the families from hell. The so called restaurant has little options mainly pizzas or burgers. The cocktail we had wasn't great it didn't match the description whatsoever. I have given 3 stars for Risha her correct attitude and helpfulness and the comfort of our room. AC worked well as did the fridge.Pillows were good as was the bedding. But the cleaner ruling the roost should be addressed,she decided to apologise when we were leaving,I wonder what brought that on.....

Lovely hidden gem. Family run inn. Everything was just perfect after along flight. The owner meets and greets on arrival. We were late and missed the restaurant. He offered pizza which we gladly devoured. Breakfast had everything from fresh fruit to freshly cooked food. We only stayed one night and sorry we didn’t stay longer. We will return

The best home away from home!!! Excellent cozy place. Fleshly made homemade food by the owner. You feel comfortable just like home from the minute you arrive there. Breakfast is made by order so its always fresh and hot. Nice coctails. Super clean!!!
