Big clean room with free flow snacks and drinks Whole families with 15 pax enjoyed our stay

Great location with shops and restaurants in walkable distance.

This is a great hotel, we love the free breakfast and 24 hr free snacks and drinks.

Excellent facilities. Very new. Roof top pool however is overrated, just a couple of shallow pools.

The rooms were a bit dark for my liking. The best part about this was the bathrooms and the bathtub. The bathtub was as big as a jacuzzi. The buffet was not worth it. Transportation in this area is also very bad.

good location and breakfast was good enough. I travelled with a family of 4. The bedroom size is good too, lots of space to lay our suitcases flat. Hot spring bath is nice. Not sure if it is real hot spring water as there are no smell at all, but it done had a little bit of greenish colour. A/C is cool enough, room is quiet, B1 and B2 carpark space was always full by 9pm so beware of that you may need to park on the street or infront of the hotel lobby. Only small downside is the shower door will leak due to the sliding door design, and the roof top pool can give a miss, otherwise all good.

Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room. Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note. Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot. Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye. Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

Spacious with a hot spring bath in the room. Free 24 hours snack bar in restaurant. Bed is very comfy and location is very good as it is within walking distance to many restaurants

Service and location is good.

Location: Very close to the train station, within walking distance. Also close to the parks and public hot springs. Staff: The staff were friendly, and kept our luggage stored when we checked out. Since I only spoke to them in my terribly broken Mandarin, I don't know how many staff could speak English for foreigners. Room: Very clean, A/C works very well and isn't too noisy. The bed was large and comfortable. There was water, and tea and coffee - I forgot to look in the fridge. Bathroom: Most hotels in Jiaoxi have hot spring bathtubs, and so does VASTY. There were plenty of toiletries and towels, flip-flops, slippers and bathrobes. The bath was lovely. Shower did make the entire floor wet, but not slippery. Other amenities: The rooftop pools (x2) are small, heated to a comfortably warm temperature, and clean enough. There are loungers and chairs. There was a family with two young children playing in one of the pools and taking photos, very cute. Free water, towels and cans of Coca Cola upstairs too! Breakfast: Buffet style with mostly Asian food, but plenty of choice to help oneself to meats, breads, fruits and vegetables. Tea, coffee, milk and juices. We went downstairs for breakfast at around 9am and had to wait for a few minutes, as there were no tables available. Overall, we had a wonderful one night getaway in Jiaoxi, and would stay at VASTY again.

Rooms comfortable

Overall the place is clean and quiet. The in-room onsen is nice and the water was great! Nightview while having onsen is suberb experience!

This is a good hotel to stay at! It is cheaper than the 5 star hotels nearby. Family friendly!
