Since our hotel installs independent air conditioners in each room, there will be independent air conditioner operation in each room. When the temperature reaches a certain level, the air conditioner will automatically turn off, and when the indoor temperature drops or rises to a certain level, the air conditioner will automatically turn on, which may cause some noise! Additionally, regarding the tobacco smell you mentioned, smoking is prohibited in the hotel lobby, however, some guests may violate the rules.
