Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel recensioner

A stone’s throw away from the Yokohama main station, clean and well sized for Japanese standards. Was a ¥1300 Uber ride to the YCAT station.

The check-in time very late for arrival in morning but can leave luggages at hotel. The hotel has city view very beautiful. Under hotel have 7-11.

Room may be too small for more than 2 travellers but service quite good, great location and many dishes for breakfast selection.

Great hotel. Feels very new and clean. Staff were great, and facilities were tiptop. Super value for money. Rooms were great too. Will recommend. Only downside was that it was a distance away from the train station, both Yokohama and Sakuragicho.

My son and I book this hotel because we went for a nearby concert at the K ARENA, it's only a good 10 mins walk from where we were, there are alot of 7 Eleven around , starbucks and the Queens 1 & 2 is a 30 mins walk to find more restaurants and Mark Is Mall. The hotel is lovely , we had a great place to rest before we could check in strictly at 3pm . Friendly service and we enjoyed the morning breakfast . The rooms are spacious and I love the toiletries. I would highly recommend this place with breakfast .

The lobby is nice. We arrived at around midnight. Didn’t use the facilities much. There is a convenience shop nearby. The room is clean and comfortable. The restaurants are not very close to the hotel and it takes 15 minutes or so.

I would have given a 5 star rating for service but got a very bad experience with this one staff call Yashiro (she wasn’t wearing a name tag but told us this name after we asked a few times for her name). We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, for 6 people. On the second evening when we return to the rooms, we found out that our room wasn’t cleaned. Later found out that we need to put the magnet tag outside of the door if we need cleaning. Which is fine and we were not complaining about this. But we needed new towels. We called the reception separately and got hanged up! The receptionist said a bunch of “maybe” English or mixed with Japanese, then hang up. I called again and explained we needed new towels, she said “no towels!” Then hang up. I called again, same answer, then hang up. We then go down to the lobby, this same girl looked annoyed and said NO TOWELS! Her level of service was just very bad and unacceptable! It was only until when we asked for her name, she acted she didn’t understand English. Then I spoke in Japanese asking for her name. Then her attitude changed. Gave us 3 towels. I said we needed 6 for 6 people. Then she said no again! I said it is ridiculous if the hotel only has 4 clean towels! And I will write my experience on my booking platform. Then she finally took us to our floor and said there are many towels there. To be fair, all other staff was very friendly, including the boy who checked us in and the girl called Monya who checked us out and helped us with delivering the luggages to our next hotel. I don’t need compensation from this hotel as I will not be returning to this hotel again because of this one bad staff but I surely hope management can give her better training on how to handle simple customer requests with a right attitude.

WiFi is wierd. Does not allow video call on WhatsApp (messages and pictures works fine). Does not connect to KakaoTalk. helpful staff. Location is fine. Quiet over the weekend as offices are closed.

The location is not convenience, there has nothing around except the commercial buildings. However, it is silent, clean and cheap, so I will still suggest this hotel.

Hotel is fairly near Yokohama Train station and is fairly spacious given the price. There are quite a few restaurants nearby the hotel and a park to explore as well

Wonderful Stay with a nice view on yokohamas streets

Nice Hotel, conveniently situated and clean. The room is big enough to accommodate 2 to 3 guests. Recommend.
