We stayed at the hotel for one night and found the location to be excellent! The window overlooks the main square where performances take place (this can also be a downside, as we woke up in the morning to the sound of a show, but overall we enjoyed the lively setting).
The hotel is modern and newly designed. On the day we arrived, it was very hot, and they had already turned on the air conditioning in our room before we got there, which was a wonderful touch. The room was a bit small, but the bed was extremely comfortable.
Another big convenience was that the hotel arranged to pick us up directly from the train station, which made things very easy. The staff was very kind and helpful while they don’t speak English, communication through a translation app worked just fine.
One drawback was that the hotel doesn’t provide regular fabric towels, only disposable ones that felt a bit like paper towels. When we asked for regular towels, the ones we received had a musty smell, so we ended up using the disposable ones anyway. This was the only real downside for us.
That said, we really liked the hotel overall and would definitely recommend it!

Excellent location within the FURONG old town and next to open air theater. You get box office seats from your room or at their balcony to watch the daily after and night shows. Rooms are clean and you have a choice of disposable towels or normal ones. Do travel light as there are no lifts for your large and heavy luggages. They also provide a one time FREE High Speed rail station transfer (either Dep or Arr) and additional arrangement is at RMB 20. You can arrange for didi but have to walk out of the town enclose area.
Heard from manager Ms Wang, that they just renovated the place in 2024 so the rooms are relatively nice has a large projector screen. Next to the hotel is a massage shop and a small convenient store. If you want your coffee or ice tea fix - Luckin is just a few nearby - outside the enclosed tourist fee area. Business are relatively cheaper outside the enclosed area bec of the tourist fee rmb 90( if you purchase from them one day in advance). Pls wechat them for arrangements via trip.com customer service chat function.
Overall, an awesome overnight experience for that less than usd80 price point.

Service was fantastic. We had free transfer from train station, and free upgrade to a bigger room. The reception sent tourist into to our WeChat without being asked. With close walk to waterfall. Breakfast was local noodles. However, amenities need improvement. There’s no doors to the toilet, disposable towels were provided, and the hanging rack was oddly placed over a counter. Only one night there was great. But we might not have enjoyed using disposable towels if we had stayed longer.

From the moment we stepped into our room, we were greeted by the delicate, enchanting aroma of fresh flowers that filled the entire space—it felt like a serene garden retreat! The hostess was exceptionally warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
To our delight, our visit coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival. Not only did the hostess generously offer us traditional sticky rice dumplings (*zongzi*), but she also gifted us a basket of fresh local fruits grown right here in the region. Such a thoughtful touch that made our holiday truly special!
We left feeling pampered and deeply appreciative of the kindness and attention to detail. Highly recommend this charming haven!

Very good location. The rooms were very clean and big. One of the rooms had a great view of the square and another one a really cute balcony to have tea with view of the city. The hotel stuff was really really nice, warm, welcoming and helpful. They even picked us up on the station. Would definitely recommend it :)

The people who work here are amazing. Our taxi driver could not find the hotel, so he called the ximu hotel. Then a man came from the hotel to pick us up. He insisted that he wanted to carry my girlfriends suitcase from 25 kg to the hotel, he even took it up the stairs to the room. He actually also wanted to take my suitcase but i felt bad for him😂. After i’ve took a shower, i went downstairs and he offered me a cigarette and gave us a lot of tips for nice places to see and eat in Furong. We have had an amazing experience, also because of this guy and the other staff of the hotel. We had a great time here and we would definitly recommend it to other people. The room and location are also really nice.

We stayed one night at this hotel just a few days ago. It’s a basic simple hotel, room is very clean and very comfortable firm bed for a good night sleep. The hotel provides environmental friendly disposal bath towel, hand towel and slippers. Breakfast was included for our stay. We placed our order the night before and they delivered the meal to our room the next day at the time slot we selected. It’s a simple sufficient nice meal; we had noodles for mains, with egg and fried fritter to go with.
The hotel is inside the town and does not have an elevator. The front desk lady XiaoWang (小王), helped us carry our luggage up to our room when we checked-in and down the stairs when we checked-out. The hotel provides free pickup or send off service. We chose free pickup but were lucky to get free send off service as she happens to be on the way to the train station when we checked out. XiaoWang is very friendly and cheerful, always help us whenever we need help. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Location was great. Right inside the Ancient town and many restaurants around. Rooms are well layout with big screens projector TV and excellent water pressure. The lady boss was very kind and helpful. She even gets me a pick up from train station. Best hotel to stay in Furong Ancient town.
