Tusi Xuanfu (Furong Town Waterfall Store)

Stayed in a 2 double besd river view room for one night. Staff at the homestay are informative and helpful. Helped arranged pick up and drop off from train station at reasonable price. Room is clean but a bit disappointing with the towels provided. Looks old, overly used and thin. The room soundproof was not great. Our room was same level as the lobby and street and just next to the stairways that leads to other rooms from the lobby. Can hear other staffs and guests walking up and down early in the morning. Read reviews of many old homestays in furong with view of waterfall that the room will smell of sewage but at Tusi Xuanfu it was good. No sewerage smell. Only complain is that can smell other people smoking outside from our room and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The free chinese tea set while enjoying the view of the waterfall was bonus. The breakfast was simple, just noodle soup, mantou and instant coffee. Noodle soup tastes nice especially for a tourist like me. Would conclude that the price of the room I stayed is expensive compared to the quality of the room. The view from the courtyard is GREAT, just not from the room because the room only has view of the platform, and river but not the waterfall.

The hotel location is really good. The staffs were very nice. The hotel arranged the car to pick us up from railway station (20 Yuan) and help us carrying our stuffs from taxi till hotel. The room is spacious and clean. You can see the town night view from the hotel restaurant area really well. There was no mosquitoes during my stay and it was quiet! The hotel restaurant is also really good and clean.

Pros: - Great location - Beautiful view of the waterfall from the hotel - Friendly, helpful staff - Hotel gave us the option of a free room upgrade - Hotel helped us arrange transportation back to the train station Cons: - Supper was a little bit on the pricier side, but tasted good! Overall, would definitely recommend if staying in Furongzhen! :)

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret! The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

It is the best location to stay and see the scenic water fall. The hotel is clean and has very good hospitality. The hotel owner is very kind and plants beautiful rose trees in the hotel. It is no language barrier as staff is very good to use translator.

The owner are super helpful. They are very attentive, quick reach out to us for pick up, help with luggage and the hotel is decent, good view, comfortable. It was a great stay! Highly recommend
