Tusi Xuanfu (Furong Town Waterfall Store)

Pros: - Great location, the view is incredible to watch the waterfall from the terraces. Beautiful courtyard. - Very friendly staff (although some do smoke in the lobby) - Very few guests despite the crowd in the area, can enjoy some peace and quiet - They will come pick up your luggage in a 3-wheeler. Our kids loved seeing it. - Hotel recommended a dinner place that was very good - AC is very strong! Cons: - Breakfast options are a bit limited but they do have made to order noodles - Windows and doors don't have mosquito screens so we kept them closed the whole time - our room entrance is on the street, which gets a bit noisy at night and early morning when people/trolleys pass

We cannot understate how wonderful of an experience we had at this hotel. To begin with, the hotel staff generously granted us an upgrade to a full suite. The room that we were given was practically spotless and well laid-out; on top of this, the room was stationed right next to the street - we had only to walk out the door to get into the action, yet we experienced no noise issues. Throughout our stay, we did not experience any major inconveniences whatsoever - the room was comfortable, cozy, and a relief to be in after a long day of scaling hundreds, if not thousands of steps. Overall, while the hotel room was comfortable and pleasant, it was the incredible restaurant that accompanied it that elevated the stay. The quaint garden and decked out restaurant facilities providing a wonderful and stunning view of the main attraction in the town (the waterfall) made it truly worth it. The Hunan-style cuisine and noodle breakfasts they served up were incredibly tasty - and yet, just a step out of a door. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly to any tourist visiting Furongzhen.

I loved my stay here, the hosts wee excellent , they were very helpful and brought my suitcases to the hotel and helped me order a car to and from the hotel. They helped me with what shows were on in town and gave directions. The included breakfast was delicious and the views were amazing, I would definitely recommend!

Hassle free experience checking into this bed and breakfast accommodation. The staff will contact you a day before to offer discounted entrance tickets (90 yuan) and transportation by a private driver (20 yuan). We opted for both of these services and it was the best decision we’ve made. The driver will drop you off at the closest entrance to the town, where the staff will meet you in a tricycle to transport your suitcases to the accommodation. The pathway is dirt so it would have been a nightmare pulling our suitcases through this. The rooms are large but average. We can see half of the waterfall from our balcony. For breakfast it is simple soup noodle. They ran out of rice sticky dumplings by the time we got there and the staff did not refill it. The only standout was the outdoor dining area, you’ll get a full view of the town which was amazing without having to be surrounded by a large crowd. I did notice that some tourists managed to walk in and take some photos when the front desk was not staffed… which felt unfair as this was the most expensive accommodation we’ve paid whilst in china.

Highly recommend to stay in this hotel when you are visiting Furong town. The room is clean, river view but you can see clearly the waterfall from the terrace when you having breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
