The Morning Glory Inn is more than a B&B! As you enter the grounds, you are transformed into a genuinely unique environment built with loving care and attention to detail. The original building is a mid-18th-century home once located on a coastal island and relocated in the 1800s to its present location. That building is the cornerstone that sets the tone for the expansive rooms and modern amenities that harken to the past in an atmosphere tastefully appointed. Your host, Doug Mindell, is a friendly and enthusiastic host who quickly makes one feel right at home. He is a professional photographer; look at his work throughout the premises. He loves what he does, and it shows. Our immaculate suite included a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate tub. The bedroom with a king bed and a raised ceiling had skylights and a door to a lovely patio with a table and chairs enclosed by a beautiful private garden. Breakfast was an abundant mix of cakes, homemade bread, and fresh fruit. One warning. If you are six feet tall, watch the doorways; they are a bit low. We will definitely be back.
