B&B Hotel Thionville Yutz A31

Bon emplacement , grand parking..

We booked this as a one night stopover returning from a European holiday. The hotel was not clean on arrival, and the corridors and reception area were full of rubbish and cages containing dirty sheets, pillows etc. Check in was quick but getting into the room with the PIN code was a nightmare and took a good five minutes. The room was basic, not overly clean and did not resemble the marketing photos. The sink is in the room, as is the shower, and only the toilet is in a separate room behind a door. The sink had lots of cigarette burns round it and the shower head is fixed; my wife is 5’ 4” and the water shot over her head onto the opposite wall. The fixed head also meant the floor outside was soaking wet when stepping out. The weather was hot and as there was no air conditioning, we had to have the window wide open (if you have children, it’s worth bearing in mind there are no safety catches on them) which from a security perspective was concerning. More cigarette burns were on the windowsill, and we noticed the tarpaulin covering part of a damaged roof. On the plus side, the location is quiet and we were not disturbed. For some reason, few places appeared to be open locally, and we ate at McDonald's for dinner. As the breakfast in the hotel the next morning looked shockingly poor (again, nothing like the photos) we looked for somewhere else for breakfast - even the McDonald’s didn’t open until 11am, so we just hit the road. In summary, this is quite possibly the worst hotel we’ve stayed in and we definitely won’t return.

L'hôtel ne ressemble en rien aux photos du site ! Chambres très vetustes et mal nettoyées. On retrouve des poils et cheveux sur la literie et même des mouchoirs sous le matelas. Et on parle pas de la poussière non faite. A 8h la femme de ménage frappe à la porte, ne sachant sûrement pas quelles chambres sont occupées. Grande déception, et ce n'est pas parce que l'on s'appelle ibis budget que l'on doit négliger l'essentiel. On ne réitèrera pas l'expérience, c'est sûr !!

Accueil agréable, petit déjeuner en quantité. Quelques défauts de qualité dans la chambre (lumière des WC vacillante). Mais idéale pour petit séjour. Dommage de ne pas avoir des chambre avec 3 lits simples quand on a plusieurs enfants.

auf Geschäftsreisen braucht man Hotels, die bequem zu erreichen sind. Die Nähe zu einer Autobahn ist von Vorteil. Hat das Hotel einen Parkplatz und ist der auch noch gratis, sind schon zwei Merkmal positiv getroffen. Wird man erwartet und muss nicht lange einchecken und Formulare ausfüllen wird es langsam perfekt. In diesem IBIS gibt es sogar ein kleines Restaurant mit Tageskarte und jetzt ist der Gast rundherum zufrieden und vergibt 5 *****
