Yuzawa Grand Hotel recensioner

The hotel is close to the train station, but need to walk uphill. Although we clearly booked 2 adults 2 kids in Trip.com but the hotel still charged the extra costs for 2 kids (2 years old) for additional 4400 Yen, pay cash at the checkin counter. The room was ready at 3PM and got the room on 3rd floor with mountain view at the back of hotel. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Staff came for turning down the bed futon in the evening. The breakfast was so amazing and plenty of choices. Overall, we had a good stay. 

The location was great. It is walking distance from JR station with gd dining places. Across the road is 7-11 and walking distance to Yuzuwa Kogen (10mins).

This is our 3rd week of 4 weeks exploring Japan and so far Yuzawa Grand is the best Ryokan Onsen experience we have had. We could have spent several days there it was sublime. We arrived in the morning and the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. We had been told by the tourist centre at the train station that the gondola wasn’t operational for 3 days; however the Yuzawa Receptionist assured us that it was operating and showed us that they were even able to sell us tickets at a discount. She gave us a map and bus timetable, showing us where everything was. They stored our backpacks for us and off we went exploring and had a marvellous time. We soaked our feet in the foot baths while having a treat before catching the bus to the mountains. We came back to our gorgeous room which had a coffee pod machine in it. Was so nice having a coffee in the morning looking out the window. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful Onsens before dinner. The buffet at both dinner and breakfast was incredible, everything so beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. The staff are fantastic and the ambiance very peaceful.

The room is so small, and the facilities are not maintained well. Additionally, the price is quite high considering these limitations. The staff is friendly but they can’t assist with restaurant reservations. And the guests are not permitted to use the hot spring and shower facilities on the same day after checking out but this area is primarily suited for snow sports. Considering these factors, the overall value for the price paid is questionable.

Pretty old school hotel outdated furniture but has the traditional japan feel. For myself its a gd experience but will choose another hotel next round :)

One of the nearest hotel from the shinkansen station. Next to the carpark is the skiing area where you can play with the snow. The public onsen are great. One with huge indoor pool and 2 hot and 1 cold outdoor pool. Another one with only indoor pool. The dinner is really good with lot of varieties and delicacies. The room are big with two beds and tatami for 3 and with onsen type bath tub. The checkout time is quite early but the hotel provide free luggage lockers, good for those waiting for the train after checkout.

We can use the free locker for put down the luggages and then we go to ski. The breakfast is awesome. There is the kid friendly hotel because my son can play with many rubber ducks in hot spring.

是一間很漂亮的日式溫泉酒店，裝飾很有心思，景色也超級美。地點方便，房間大，整潔。早餐是自助餐，亦有多款食物選擇，不錯吃。溫泉和酒店設施都很好。唯一不方便的是雪具店接送車輛不可以直接停在酒店門口，以及走一段小斜路才到酒店。整體住宿體驗非常滿意。

酒店位置好近JR站，不過要行一段小斜路。早晚自助餐豐富，未算好好食，但一定食得飽。溫泉乾淨衛生，如能提供浸浴後飲料就更好了。房間四正，景觀一流。電掣位比較少。有歷史感嘅酒店，整體乾淨衛生。

非常有歷史的酒店，雖然老了一些，但文化底藴還是在，露天温泉小爾温馨，晚點去，享受一個人靜謐的時光，皮膚燙的紅彤彤的，肩膀上飄落的雪花冷冰冰的，大堂裏還有熱醪糟可以喝，瞬間驅散一身的寒氣。當然，最讚的還是門口的防水靴，想當理解像我這種裝備不足、或者説不是以滑雪為完全目的來的遊客，不得不説日本人確實是吧細節考慮到家了。
