Caretta Beach Resort & Waterpark

It’s the best everyone nice amazing food go on boats explore you get to go in caves it’s amazing there’s so many places to watch football outside just next door somewhere and also loads of nice restaurants so you can go out and eat yoi can rent vechiles boats quad bikes

Great holiday! The hotel is ideal for families with children. There is a water park that it part of the hotel so you can free entry. We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old so the splash park bit with little slides was ideal for them but there bigger slides too. There's also a wave pool in the water park and plenty of sun loungers and shade around the water park too. The hotel pools are lovely. There's a shallow pool for little ones and 2 larger, deeper pools including a jacuzzi. We thought the food was very good and so much choice. There's a buffet restaurant, another Greek style buffet restaurant and 2 other restaurants which we didn't try as buffet style is easier for us with young children. Breakfast is what you'd expect, lots of bread, sausages, bacon, beans, etc with pastries, cheese, meat, fruit, chips, jams all sorts! Lunch and dinner always has salad, desserts, chips, pasta, rice and lots to choose from for mains like different meats, pies, casseroles, curries etc. There's also a snack bar during the day which do amazing gyros, chicken nuggets, chips, pizzas, hotdogs and another area for unlimited ice cream. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are basic but that doesn't bother us as we're only in there to sleep. For the evening there are 2 arcades, a huge area full of bounch castles (€10 for unlimitef access and worth every penny) there's also trampolines, other little rides for the younger kids and a mini disco every night. There's also a kids club too but can't comment as my children didnt attend but the staff seem lovely. There's a shop across the road that sells all the usual things, water, snacks, inflatables etc. The beach is a short walk away and it's a lovely quiet beach with 1 beach restaurant. Beautiful clear water and you can hire little boats if you like. You can book excursions from the hotel or just a short walk up the road there is a little strip of bars, restaurants and trip booking booths. Great week away, I would recommend to anyone with children.

We’ve had a very good week! Can’t fault the staff, everyone is so friendly! Rooms are clean and tidy! There’s a Free bus service to the beach. The evening entertainment was great! Thanks to Chabah, he made us feel like part of Carretta Beach Family. We’ll be back!! There’s a great choice of food each day, would also recommend you book the al a carte italian restaurant very nice food!!

Just back from a week at carretta paradise and could have stayed another it's super for family's with kids and adults too , Our room was in block j over looking the pool and kids pool areas ,the room was great size with fridge and kettle ,Netflix on TV too was great ,room was cleaned 3 times and new towels etc offered every day if needed ,cleaners were so friendly too .have no complaints about any staff around the complex, the bar staff were always happy and friendly,the drinks were definitely not strong but u can ask for larger measures and put into your own larger thermal cups ,we brought our own plastic pint glasses which came in handy! We did purchase vodka from the supermarket to top up the drinks which was not an issue for us as the mixers / soft drinks were absolutely fine , food is edible, the snack bar was great for munching on during the day ,dinner had great salad selection, and always something to find to fill a hole ! We ate out on our last night at the red apple just a short walk away and the food was unreal !! Great value and lovely staff and a huge cocktail menu! Wish we had found it sooner !! 4 massive main courses ,carafe of red wine ,6 cocktails, 4 shots and a cider and a kids chip came to 120 euro ! Entertainment was typical kids disco etc and ended at 11 pm ,the fun park where u pay extra is right beside the entertainment, 10 euro for 5 hours on loads of bouncy castles ,which was well.worth it ! All in all a great week, yes the food wasn't amazing but it's what yo expect from.all.inc tbf ,the surrounding area is very quiet but a 10 euro taxi from reception takes u a 5 min drive into tsilivi which has ample choice of restaurants and shops ,I would definitely return Nd try to get about a bit more from the complex lots to see and do with tours etc ,

The hotel was pleasant enough but was sadly lacking in housekeeping. The cleaning of the rooms was abysmal and disgusting. Our beds weren't made at all and were never changed Also the room was not cleaned and the bath towels were not changed. No toilet paper was supplied when we ran out so had to take rolls from communal toilets in fact I don't think the bathroom was cleaned before we arrived. The cups were never cleaned or glasses. I have never been to a hotel as bad as this and will not be back. We asked for a bath mat from reception but never received one. The only praise I can give was for the entertainment team who worked very hard and delivered a good Evening.

Chabah was amazing with the kids & kept us all entertained always checking if we wanted to join in on games along with the other reps they were all amazing and so kind. Staff was so helpful and very kind. Room was beautfuil. Food was great the whole holiday was amazing with plenty of memory’s. We will be looking at coming back next year. Chabah is 10/10 as a person so so funny and kind.
