Hotel was spotlessly clean, all the staff were lovely apart from the grumpy bar man downstairs. Food wasn't amazing but edible with a small variety of choice. The location was perfect and room was perfect with air con and mosquito nets and a safe. The room was spotless and the maids were lovely. The hotel made you feel very welcome and helped in every way possible

Great hotel but not suitable for us. Fabulous welcome and all the staff very efficient and friendly. Shown to our room and initially thought ‘great’ as we were in the new block. Good size room, did lack storage (mainly drawers or shelving in cupboard) but it was manageable. The real downside was we were by the side of a very busy & loud road. The ‘garden view’ we were expecting was a gravel courtyard but it was far too noisy to sit out on balcony. Food was of good standard but after a couple of days felt very repetitive and we ended up eating out for the remaining nights. Lack of seating on an evening outside- the chairs in the vineyard were uncomfortable and some were broken. We like to sit out and play cards but not enough lighting. It is a lovely hotel overall so would depend on what you want from a holiday. Great location for getting to harbour and main area - we only ventured here during the day but was comical and ‘eye opening’

My partner and I have recently returned from a five night stay at the Castelli Hotel and, unfortunately, have been left really disappointed by the experience - feeling that it did not live up to the marketing or positive reviews we saw before we booked our stay there. Firstly, some motivational feedback: Welcome: The welcome, and brief tour, we were given by Irene when we arrived at the hotel was everything you would expect - warm, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, we felt this almost set the hotel up for a bigger “fall” when the rest of the experience did not match that initial impression. Outside Areas: We would use the sun loungers located in the olive grove (partly because the ones by the pool filled up extremely quickly) but found this to be a very peaceful and relaxing area. The sun loungers around the pool area were removed during the evening and replaced with tables, chairs, and rechargeable table lamps. We fully acknowledge that this was quite a time consuming and labour-heavy task for the staff to carry out each day. This was a lovely area to sit of an evening and have a pre or after dinner drink and something we really enjoyed. Room: The room we had (212) had a beautiful view over the olive grove looking out to sea. On check-in we were given a complimentary bottle of wine, hotel-branded canvas bag, and two bandanas to use. Whilst a really nice touch, unfortunately they did not make up for the shortfall in the overall experience, and so we left these in the room unused. Archelon Charity Presentation: The evening entertainment on the Wednesday was a presentation by two members of the Archelon charity that helps protect sea turtles and their habitats. It is really lovely to see that the hotel supports local conservation work and that certainly ties into the hotel’s green ethos. Now, for the developmental feedback: I want to preface this section by saying that I appreciate some of the points could be considered minor or, to some, trivial complaints. I do believe though that four and five star hotels are where the smaller details are all taken into account - and these then add up to deliver that more premium experience that is expected with that rating, and also the price you pay. Room: The room was extremely compact. To highlight the point about the smaller details, the hotel uses eco-friendly clothes hangers in the wardrobe. These are large, cardboard-style however, don’t actually fit properly into the wardrobe. I’m all for the hotel minimising its environmental impact but surely they could have found hangers that actually fit. Otherwise the environmental ethos is then impacting the functionality of certain facilities and this is affecting the overall customer experience. The biggest issue was with the bathroom - or wet room - to be more accurate. The room was very small and there was no shower enclosure or screen, therefore the whole room was soaking wet after anyone used the shower. The toilet in our room had a

3rd time we have visited. Lovely greeting from staff when we arrived. The hotel always helps you if you need anything arranged or organised. Great base to visit beaches and go around island. Food very good as was entertainment. Thoroughly recommend.

This was advertised as a boutique hotel. I believe it once was but they have added two additional accommodation blocks a 5 min walk from the main hotel. So now there are too many customers fighting for sun beds and tables in the restaurant. We were a group of 8 and had to walk to the beach and pay for sun beds there. Which is not what we expected for an all inclusive holiday. The only alcohol included in our all inclusive holiday was local spirits and local wine. The spirits were watered down and the wine was undrinkable. We found a supermarket and bought our own very nice wine. (Ionos) The food wasn’t great either. The owner is very friendly and was always in reception to meet and greet! They staff were also very friendly, helpful and courteous.

4 friends came to stay for a week for the first week in September. We booked two rooms all inclusive and we’re lucky enough to be able to Upgrade when we got to the hotel. The management managed to upgrade us to swim up suites for a very reasonable price and if we booked again, we would definitely book direct with the hotel. We flew with BA and booked a Private transfer which was waiting for us when we arrived, the airport transfer to hotel only took 15 minutes. We landed at 3 pm and were in our hotel room by 4 pm. It was perfect! The hotel is approximately five minutes from the centre of Laganas, so it was very peaceful but is in easy reach if you decided you wanted a change of scenery. The hotel itself was perfect for our needs, the staff were amazing. The food was delicious and the rooms were great. The entertainer Andrea was lovely and there was plenty to do if you wanted to, including aqua aerobics, stretching, locally inspired activities in the afternoon, including Cooking and loom weaving and in the evening there was bingo, Greek night and sometimes outside entertainers. We were all inclusive and there was always something tasty to eat. There were two bars, one in the restaurant and one downstairs by the pool and a selection of cocktails were included on the drinks menu. Where was a lovely big pool with plenty of some beds and also plenty of swim rooms. What makes this hotel so special is the staff, it is Family run and the owner is always around to say hello to whilst his daughter Maria (who is fantastic) is the manager but honestly every single member of staff were amazing and helped make our holiday perfect ! Thank you so much for a really great holiday!!!

We booked through Easy Jet and paid just under £800 Pp for a week, this included our flights, pre-book able seats, 23kg hold bag and private return transfer. We felt this was excellent value for money, we could not fault the customer service, hard working and kind staff, our beautiful room and overall good all inclusive experience. We felt looked after and genuinely felt the owner and staff did their best to ensure guests had the best possible experience. Our superior room was in a block within the hotel grounds a few minutes walk from reception. This area was very green and home to chickens, turkeys, cats, kittens, the odd duck and other birds belonging to the hotel. The room was newly refurbished and beautifully decorated. Good solid front door and French doors to the balcony, so it felt very secure. We had a Walk in rain shower, separate toilet and sink area. There was a king bed, comfy mattress with the softest sheets, pillows and duvet. There was a welcome gift of a pretty little headscarf each and a tote bag (super cute). Some of the rooms in the main hotel were very small and had exposed shower, toilet, sink, wet rooms, we did see one of these rooms and glad we had the superior. The bathroom had natural products that smelled beautiful, this included liquid soap/hair wash and little bottles of body lotion and conditioner for hair. The hot water and shower was amazing, it had both rain shower and hand held which is super handy. We had a hand and bath towel each. There was plenty or storage space and the wardrobe lit when opened and had a safety deposit box inside. There was a small fridge, kettle/coffee and tea (small cups and 2 small glasses). The hotel provide one plastic bottle of water each, thereafter you need to use the filter machines to fill up. So would recommend you bring your own water vessel. The hotel advise against drinking tap water (high salt content). Safe to brush teeth with but not to drink. There was a TV (didn’t use it). There was a Long mirror, dressing table and good lighting. Plenty of sockets and one usb port. The terrace/balcony had a small table and two chairs and was surrounded by beautiful vines, fruit trees and forna. The blackout curtains are good, the only downside for me was the giant emergency exit sign by the front door that remained brightly lit at night. I am sensitive to light so it severely disturbed my sleep throughout my stay. If it wasn’t for that I’d have slept like a baby. Food wise all meals were tasty and of good quality. The buffet station and dining area was cramped with tables right next to each other and chairs almost back to back. This made it difficult getting in and out and didn’t always make for a comfortable chilled experience. Breakfast had hot fresh fried eggs, scrambled egg, hotdog sausage, hammy bacon, breads, cakes and little pancakes each day. There was a Small selection of canned fruits, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, honey and plain greek yoghurt as well

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at the Castelli Hotel. We were staying for our daughters’ wedding on Cameo Island and the staff did everything they could do make our stay a pleasant one. They were as excited as we were on the day of the wedding! It is a small family run hotel, with the owner, Mr Spiros, sitting in reception greeting his guests. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome. The buffet meals were good, with hot and cold options on each sitting. The pool area was nice, although sometimes it was difficult to find a sun bed at peak times. However there were extra beds in the olive grove next to the pool. There was a variety of entertainment every night in the pool area, but this was low key and never went on too late. It was about 10 minute walk to the beaches or into the town, where there were more bars and restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend the Castelli Hotel and hope to return one day.
