We arrived at the hotel and straight away had to pay room tax, which you’d think is a normal process, however, they would only accept cash and would not give a receipt. When speaking to other hotel guests, it seems like they’re charging people different amounts per night. We then got taken to our room and it was in an awful state. The toilet seat was broken, dirty bed sheets, toe/finger nails on the floor, the sink and cupboards had dirt all over, the shower didn’t have a shower curtain or shower head holder and we had no hot water. We went out on the balcony and my partner sat down on a chair, which just completely collapsed. A member of staff came to our room to ask if we needed anything and I showed her the dirt and damages and her response was “oh” and then she left. The pictures on love holidays are not as advertised at all. It shows that the hotel has water slides, when in fact the slides are all fallen apart and fenced off. This is a 3 star hotel so I’m not expecting the Ritz but there is no excuse for the cleanliness. I made a complaint to the hotel and their customer service was a joke. They would not take any responsibility for any of this, even with picture proof. All they were concerned about is that we “broke a chair and didn’t pay for it”. They stated that we are just complaining to make some money. The only good thing about this hotel was the all inclusive bar. There was no buffet as they advertised, however, they did make all our food fresh whenever we asked for something to eat. The staff there were brilliant but they’re not actually part of the hotel apparently. Would never return here and do not recommend to anyone.
