Center Parcs De Eemhof

What a wonderful site! So much variety here for all ages. Great value for money on additional activities. The staff were wonderful and it was immaculately clean. We had the best 2 weeks. Ideally located too as we took a day trip to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Spakenburg and Efteling theme park, 90 min drive from Hook of Holland too so a really stress free journey. Would 100% recommend!!

We stayed in cottage 277. Lovely and clean and a lovely calming view through the trees. Staying with our adult children loads to do the bike paths that go all around outside the park are fabulous the kids have gone all the way to zeeworlde. Easy to get to Amsterdam for the day as well. Food on the park is overpriced but we went to the lidl in Zeeworlde for a shop. Its easy to get in and out the park by car as well. Kids and us loved the aqua mondo as well great slides. Our first European CP as the UK ones are so expensive we will be back to explore more of them.

We visited De Eemhof Center Parcs during July/Aug 2025 as a family of 8 comprised of 6 adults, one 10 year old and one 2.5 year old. The pros: - The accommodation worked really well for the 8 of us, it was mostly clean with almost all of the equipment we needed to be self sufficient. - Two people in our group became ill with a sickness bug, clean bedding and towels were supplied no questions asked when needed and when we thought a medic would be needed for the youngest Center Parcs were quick to supply us the details of an out of hours doctor (which we didn't end up needing). - The pools are great with something for all ages and the bait trip across to a nearby town is lovely for everyone to enjoy. - both children loved the farm with free roaming animals The cons (as an English speaking family with a toddler and food allergies). - there are a number of playgrounds around the site, and an indoor soft play area, these were fab for the older child. But completely inaccessible to the 2.5 year old. There isn't a toddler play area at all. - the children's disco is more like a dance class which is very adult led and completely in Dutch and German. This completely alienated our little one who couldn't follow - similar to the above, the children's storytime and bingo activities are also primarily in Dutch and German with very little English. This made it impossible for the littlest to follow. This is understandable as we were in the Netherlands and I wouldn't expect everything to be in English, but it is something we wished we'd known before booking the holiday as we may have waited until the children were older. - two of our party have an allergy to milk, there are very few options across the park to cater for this in both restaurants and the supermarket. So if you do travel with allergies be prepared and take your own provisions.
