Hotel Restaurant Au Riesling

Hotel nearby Elzasser weinroute. Everything there oké, beautiful view along the wineyard. unfortunately restaurant was closed on Sunday, but there were various restaurants nearby. I can highly recommend your stay in this hotel.

This is a lovely small and friendly hotel in a great location for exploring the wine trail. It is quiet and the rooms are comfortable, although the shower room was very small. My room didn't have a kettle but others did and the staff were happy to give me hot water whenever I asked for it. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and evening meals. The standard of the food was exceptional and the staff were very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I have just spent three nights here in what they call a junior suite. The room was fine and the air conditioning worked. The staff were mostly friendly and there was a covered ared to park motorbikes and some cars. I ate one night in the restaurant the food looked prettier than it tasted and the duck breast was quite chewy. In the room I was unimpressed to se the drinks offered with the kettle were one breakfast tea bag and one fruit, no coffee or milk. Asmall bottle of still water was supplied the first night. Breakfast was some fairly low quality products. After two mornings I gave up and went to a coffeeshop/bakery nearby.. The croissants were so much better as was the coffee. I might return if I want to have air con. and fairly safe bike parking

Comfortable room with airco, friendly and professional staff, the food in the restaurant was just excellent, location is perfect with amazing views overlooking the Rhine-valley (the Black Forest) and the grapeyards.

We stayed here one night with our dog and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is situated along the wine route and oversees vineyards on all sides. It is good to know that the superior rooms have air conditioning whereas the standard rooms do not. Since it was rather hot we asked to change our reservation from standard to superior, which was no problem at all. The breakfast was fine, but we were disappointed to find out that for dinner the restaurant only offered one simple menu because of lack of personnel. However, a reservation was made for us at a nearby restaurant, which was fine. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. There is free parking in the back. This hotel is definitely to be recommended. O yes, the beds were wonderful. We slept very well.
