We had a wonderful stay and the hotel team treated us so well. Thanks to Mr HU and Miss Maomao and Li Gang and all the team !. The hotel takes care of pick up and drop-off from/to airport and to the Forest park. Very well organised and helpful. MR HU took care of the entrance ticket to the park and everything went smooth. The Duplex suite for the family was so cosy and charming. I would recommend it for sure. The food was delicious. Thanks to all !

Simply it was an amazing experience. Roundtrip pick up service was free, which was very nice. Also shuttle service to mountain gates were provided. Hotel it self had very unique design, the room we got was bath tub + sauna inside. After full day hiking in December, sauna option room was best decision we made. Lot of people might think it’s better to get a hotel in the city, but this hotel location wasn’t an issue, was much better to getaway from all the noise. Thank you Hu! You were superb host 🙂 we will definitely comeback in the future.

Foggy Valley is an excellent hotel that helped us enjoy our trip to Zhangjiajie National Park to the fullest. Hotel looks amazing even though most of the time we were outside. Even without leaving hotel you can make a lot of beautiful photos. The food was also great, we enjoyed absolutely every meal we tried there. I can assure that the best part about our stay was the stuff of Foggy Valley, never in my life I had an experience like this. Every stuff member was extremely helpful and involved. At first we were sceptical, but it was unnecessary, because the advices they were giving us could have saved us a lot of time if we realised this good intentions earlier. Especially I want to mention Hu Qing who helped us the most, thank you so much 🫰 Surely will recommend this place to my friends The room was a little bit cold (December btw), but I guess it's overall problem of this region in general and not the hotel.

The room is clean and the hotel atmosphere is really nice and peaceful. Hotel picked us up from the train station and also dropped us which is very nice. All the staffs are very nice and helped us in every way they could. They also helped us bought tickets for the national park and dropped us off and picked us up when we were done. The hotel restaurant is unbelievably cheap and tasty. The dogs are super cute and friendly. They have some activities for guests to do if we are interested. The hotel is not so far from the east gate but since they are dopping/picking us up it doesn’t really matter. They are currently building something more on top of the mountain when they are done it would be amazing to come and stay here again 🤗 P.s. they have various type of breakfast including noodles I was mindblowed.

I have been 2 times in Zhangjiajie and this hotel was the best one, best services, clean room exactly like the photos, excellent food and they help you to buy all tickets and can also drive you to the attractions. Cute dog and cat A couple from France Pour les français n’hésitez pas, hôtel située dans les montagnes avec de magnifique vues, les propriétaires sont super sympa et accueillant, et la nourriture est excellente, tout est cultivé et fait maison derrière l’hôtel.

Beautiful, secluded hotel in the mountains with amazing views from the room. They go out of their way to help you out with luggage and transportation to the hotel. The domain extends into the forest, with plenty terraces throughout. Breakfast and meals are also a plus.

We had an amazing stay at Foggy Valley. Our room had a great view and was well equipes. The breakfast was very good. Hu Qing organized us all park tickets and suggested the best routes. Thanks to all the staff also for driving us to the park entrance and picking us up. We strongly recommend this hotel and would book again.

This thoughtful preparation helped reduce any tension in the unfamiliar location 🚖 [Romantic Gestures and Quick Support] On the first day, my husband prepared a bouquet of roses 🌹. While I rested in our room, Hu accompanied him to the florist and translated. It felt like reliving our honeymoon 💕. Furthermore, when I accidentally left a bag containing important medication in a taxi the day before check-in, Hu quickly contacted the relevant parties 📞. The views from the guesthouse were magical—morning mist resembling a dream and illuminated mountains at night 🌄. After visiting, I appreciated the value of the traditional Xiangxi architecture more and hope to explore more next time. The scenery, reminiscent of the mythical "Peach Blossom Spring," brought a sense of tranquility. [Special Services and Custom Experiences] The Chinese breakfast included warm dumplings and various options 🍲. The warm beef noodle soup, coffee machine, soy milk, yogurt, salad, fruit, and toast were great. The local berry tea and nuts were perfect for hikes 🌳. The complimentary laundry service made our stay more comfortable 🧺. The automatic curtain system brightened the mornings, and the premium bedding ensured a restful night’s sleep. [Traditional Programs and Photography Spots] The guesthouse offered programs like tea tasting and meditation, allowing guests to experience traditional Chinese culture 🧘🫖. The scenic spots around were perfect for capturing memories on SNS, enhancing our experience. The super friendly and cheerful owner of the accommodation, HU QING, contacted us frequently via WECHAT and helped us a lot to make our stay comfortable. The hotel also provided a round-trip shuttle service from the airport to the accommodation, and even though it was late at night, they checked on us and picked us up from Wulingyuan to the hotel. During breakfast, the staff meticulously took care of everything we needed, and they were all kind and friendly until our family checked out. It would have been better if the room cleaning was done more thoroughly. The other parts were great. I will never forget their kindness. If you want a more eco-friendly hotel than the boring hotels in Wulingyuan, this is the hotel for you.

Lovely little hotel with a great view and a good restaurant. The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent.

The place has a lot of potential but leaves something to be desired in too many ways and given the expense it cannot be justified. Cleanliness first of all, our room was dirty, full of dust everywhere and stained towels and sheets, our room was damp and smelled damp. I found the water bottle provided without dispenser very inconvenient, better the small bottles. The toilet bowl draining while still on top. The location is inconvenient for getting to Zhangjiajie Park, it's far away and you always have to call Didi (by the way it's perched on a steep slope) or have the hotel drive you there. The staff is friendly and helpful but unfortunately for the price paid and the way it is 'sold' this place is not enough. The place itself looks more fairytale-like in the photos than it does there, with dilapidated buildings all around.

This accommodation was excellent. The rooms were big, modern and clean, with great views of the local landscape. The service is fantastic. A lot of the staff speak good English, and go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after in your visit to the area, including free transport to the park and transport hubs. The breakfast is good and varied, particularly the cakes and cookies. We also had dinner every night in the hotel restaurant and it was always excellent. Really recommended, particularly how much effort the staff make to welcome western travellers. There’s also a very friendly dog, and lot of cats, who all like to come and say hello.

Stayed 3 nights. Spacious room, but very flat pillows. We were in room 2101, nice Mountain view but neighbor can look into the room. A full body mirror will be welcome. Breakfast tasted ok, if menu can vary a bit daily will be good. What we like most was Hu Qing’s service, he attended to our needs without delay. What we like least was staffs addressed me as 姐，felt inappropriate. Nevertheless it was a pleasant stay.
