We had an amazing stay! This is the best hotel we have stayed at during our time in China. The hosts are lovely and so helpful, giving us a detailed map through the national park and marking down all the routes we had to take. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the east gate. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located around 5 mins walk to East gate but is tucked away on a quiet street. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also close to the night market that sells street food. The hotel has a homely peaceful vibe and the dog is really adorable. The hosts are amazing and speak excellent English. The hosts really enjoy chatting with guests and they really went above and beyond driving me to a phone shop when my phone broke and even treating me to a homemade coffee. The hosts will also provide you with detailed instructions and a map so you can see the best parts of the park. The perfect place if you want to stay near the east gate.

Had an amazing stay at Pure Site (張家界意宿美學客棧）. The hosts were extremely friendly before we checked in and helped us arrange all the tickets (Zhangjiajie national park, tianmen mountain, baofeng lake) at a discount. They even sat down with us to help plan our route around the national park to ensure we see and experience the most within the limited time we had. They can also help to arrange luggage delivery to our hotel near the train station. The rooms are clean and quite aesthetic with all necessary amenities and housekeeping everyday. The location is also perfect as it is a 5 minute walk away from the east gate of the national park so we can beat the crowd. There are also many restaurants around and the street market is only 2 streets down. Overall highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit Zhangjiajie!

The hotel is very well located, a few minutes on foot from the park entrance. There are many restaurants and food stalls nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly, even helping setting up an itinerary in the park

The Pure Site Hotel has a perfect location to visit Zhangjiajie, specially the national forest park as the entrance is really near. I really enjoyed my stay. The room is nice and comfortable, there are many restaurants around the hotel and makes everything really easy and convenient. Sara in charge of the hotel is a very nice person and she is really helpful. Every day she helped me make my plans for the day and helped me buy my tickets for the National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain. I recommend The Pure Site Hotel 100%.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. The owner and her family were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. She helped us plan all four days in the Zhangjiajie National Park, gave us super nice tips on where to go and even got us tickets at a very good price. One of the things that made a huge difference was that she speaks excellent English — something not so common in the area — which made communication smooth and easy from the start. She also helped me solve an issue I had with the DiDi app, going out of her way to assist us whenever needed. The hotel itself is cozy, very well located, and has great amenities including washing machines and a place to dry clothes, which was super convenient during our trip. Next time we return to Zhangjiajie, there’s no doubt we’ll be staying here again!

Me and my partner had a gear time staying at the pure site. The room was light and spacious with a beautiful view on the sky and bamboo bush. The host was very helpful in planning our hikes in the national park and tianmen mountain, as well as gave us good recommendation about local restaurants.

The host took very good care of us, she help to get discounted tickets and also with the planning of our itinerary. She spoke good English. The room was very nice and comfortable and the hotel is located close to the entrance of the park which was convenient.

We spent 3 nights in the room with the balcony and really loved it. The whole house is well designed, everything is clean, the bed gets remade every day and Sara was super welcoming to us and happy to give us tips for hiking in the park. Would definitely recommend to book here!

We had a fantastic stay in The Pure Site hotel. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. We had lots of help in planning our days. The owners found us the best deals and best ways to get around the area. The hotel is also very well situated. It is only a few minutes away from the bus station and the East Gate of the National Park . Across the streets are many restaurants, and in the evening (starting at around 7pm) there is the best street food ever! Finally, we were even invited to drink home picked and prepared tea. We were very honoured and fortunate to be taught how to brew and serve the tea the proper way. From now on, I can fully enjoy my Chinese tea at home!

we had an amazing 3 nights stay at the pure site, ideally located in Wulingyuan close to the east entrance of the park, and the hosts were so nice and helpful with information about the park.

The location is very near the ZJJ national park. There are many restaurants infront of the mingsu. We extended the stay for few hours as we could not reach on time for the check out. Paid extra RMB50 for extended 3hrs. However, they kept the towels back even though we paid extra RM50 for the 3 hours. But other than that, the owners are very friendly.
