The location is perfect! A few minutes walk to the East gate and a 1 minute walk to the nightly street market. The receptionist or boss is very friendly and helpful. He provides a lot of information and can book the National Park tickets for cheaper than I could find. The whole hostel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Each bed has a curtain, lamp, and can charge two things. Their is a nice lobby and also a rooftop for people to relax.
The only thing to be aware of is that there are only squat toilets in the hostel.

I had a really nice stay at the Swan hostel. People are really nice and helpful. They help you out with any issues you are facing. If you take your ticket for the park via the Swan hostel the price is cheaper. They have a Wechat group chat where you can ask any questions and they will answer you and help you.
The bathroom is pretty clean and toiletries are provided. The room is clean. You have a locker and plugs and bed lamp at your bed. There is a nice common room downstairs with free tea and an amazing roof top.
The location is great because is so close by the entry gate of the national park and street food market.

Wonderful hostel — right outside the entrance to the park, and with good restaurant options in walking distance. The washing machine was broken while I was there, so the man at reception went out of his way to help me find a solution (in the end he got the hotel next door to let me wash my clothes there). Nice common area to meet other travelers. The only thing is that the smell in the bathroom was a little funky, but otherwise everything was very clean.

Owners are young men . Very helpful. Hostel is about 1-1.5 kilometres from local bus station. All accommodations prices double up during May holidays. And the scenic areas are super crowded. Choose to stay here as it’s cheaper for solo travellers during peak seasons.

Great place to stay in Wulingyuan and even better staff. 5 minutes walking to Park entrance. Amazing Staff. Speak English ( remember you are in China so find someone Who you can communicate using only 10% the translator will make your stay 100% more pleasant). He buy tickets for you, give wonderful indications/advices and so on. Even he gave us a ride with his car to a short distance place we had no idea how to get

The room was dirty and it had no window. The bathroom was horrible, not clean at all! And mold in the shower.
But great rooftop spot to chill and a lot of foreign travellers.
The bed is fine and the stuff very helpful and friendly.
If you don't need a clean toilet or shower it's fine!
