Xinghe Qingmeng Folklore Inn

Staying in this small, family-owned hostel was one of the highlights of my time in China. The host was friendly and welcoming and made every effort to ensure I had a comfortable stay. She even kindly explained the various sections of the national park and helped plan a route for me to follow (with a cup of tea), which was very helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept, with air conditioning and a large window. There was also a free laundry service. Although the location is about a 20 minute walk from the park entrance (East Gate), I don’t see why this an inconvenience at all as it is located in a quiet part of town with many nice restaurants and shops nearby, and you will be walking all day in the park anyway. I think this type of accommodation is fitting for a trip in the mountains, instead of staying in large and impersonal hotels. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We can't thank enough the host of this hotel. Despite it's low price, we could have nearly everything that we wanted. The single bed is bigger than it's normal size. Well located, less than 10mins of driving to west gate of zjj park. You can lauder for free [detergent provided] . The hosts were very nice and helped us in all ways that they could. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you from us.

The room was really nice and clean. It was easy to get to the Park and the nearby lake and the owners helped me a lot with planning my trip to the park.
