Holiday Inn Express Zhangye recensioner

They turned off the air-conditioning at night. Despite telling them not to turn it off. They didn't listen and just say sorry.

This hotel facility is dar below an international hotel status & certainly no way near 4 stars rating. For one there are no proper lounge chairs & refreshing drink to offer an incoming customer. The room decors and facilities design are old & there are no fridge or sleepers for guest to use. The worse part was our room airvon is not working & the check in stuffs do not even has the courtesy to inform us at check in time. We realised only later & were told to live with it I can't accept such lame excuse & want a full refund if they can't relocate us to another room with working aircon. After some discussion finally agree to refund us via Trip.dot com account. We booked another hotel for same price and was surprise by the quality of the hotel & the amenities offered here. Our new hotel has the latest design room & toilet design with voice activated lighting. Sirvon & curtain control. There are also shower robes, bath & bed room slipers and a fridge. We will never patronise another Holiday Inn hotel from now on. Below is our new hotel offering vs what Holiday Inn has to offer.

Very good choice to visit de Buda Temples. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good, but I missed some fruit choices. I have stayed in many other Holiday's Inn in China and this was the first time that I received a bath towel worn out and with some holes, but was clean. The air conditioner was off and the provided us a ventilator.

Second of two rooms that we booked. they corrected my error at check-in; we booked a queen bed rather than twin beds for the teenagers. The “well equipped attendant with his translation app”, swapped out the queen for two beds. Great!! Kids are well in the morning.

This hotel is great value for the price - big clean rooms, nice beds, and the staff are really friendly. The breakfast was a bit strange - the area was set up for full buffet but (I think because we’re here in off peak season) we were given individual trays of basic breakfast food. But the staff gave us exactly what we asked for so we were happy. The hotel is away from the town centre but it was very quick, cheap and easy to get a didi to restaurants and coffee shops. You need two full days to see all the sights of Zhangye so stay at this hotel 3 nights :)

Loved the location and how the staff were helpful. I couldn’t make it in time but they offered me a refund for the 2nd night.

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

Staff and supervisor, 汪丽，is very friendly, helpful and considerate. All city attractions are a short ride from the hotel。

Great option in Zhangye, clean and well decorated room! The employees are friendly and helpful. + decent choice of western breakfast for Zhangye. I recommend !
