It was my second time in Zighy and another unforgettable experience i had!! Everything is always on point, staff is amazing! Julius was our butler and he is incredible!! He is soooo attentive and wants to make sure that you have unforgettable experience! He is hands down amazing and pay attention to the details that you can’t imagine!!! There are almost unlimited amount of activities you can find and do and they all are fun! Paragliding, boat tour with snorkeling, kayaking, water bicycling, beach soccer, badminton, archery, you name it!!! One of my favorite activity was definitely archery! Archery instructor Said was extremely attentive and helpful, he definitely take his time to engage with visitors and make the experience more fun!! If you want to just chill and relax that never gets old either!! Ziggy is a place that you will have lifetime experience!!! Thanks to everyone for making everything so special!!!!

Our wonderful agent Scott Dunn suggested this resort to us, we would have never thought of visiting Oman. From the collection from Dubai Airport to our return our stay was outstanding. The resort is breathtaking and we never tired of walking on that amazing empty beach each day. Food was very good and we especially enjoyed breakfast, the options were endless! The staff were outstanding and so personable. Our Villa was lovely, we loved the authenticity feel of it. My husband did the paragliding and micro light, which he and I will never forget! Eating at The Cliff was an amazing experience we shall never forgot, the food was wonderful and was so lovely for the chef to come out to speak with us and explain his dishes. We have recommended this resort to several people and as must to visit. A big call out to our wonderful butler who was always checking on us! Thank you Ziggy Bay we loved our stay

Sad to leave! This was our 2nd stay and fourth for our daughter and husband and 2 amd 6 year old kids. Zighy is just perfect and the Manager has put a well oiled machine/team in place. Location is super and private, villa s are discreet and the beach is lovely. Food menu is really noce, ect,ect Leaving now and need to stop writing otherwise we ll stay!

It exceeded our expectations! The stunning location, and exceptional service made for an unforgettable stay. We last came to Zighy Bay 7 years ago when our kids were very little and we had a fabulous October holiday. However this stay surpassed our expectations! We can just as strongly recommend it for older kids and teens. It was a wonderful place to celebrate NYE and the party must have involved so much hard work behind the scenes. If you’re thinking about coming here over the festive period, don’t hesitate!! The paragliding experience is AMAZING and so much more thrilling than I would have imagined.

This is an absolutely gorgeous destination and resort. I haven’t given it 5 stars and I never relaxed here. We had a “butler” who was actually a salesperson. A speedboat trip £500. A 3 hour walk (including a car journey) £300. You are in the middle of nowhere and you don’t have a choice of local options. I’m glad we weren’t there for a week. Having paid over £2000 per night for a beachfront villa with a pool I didn’t expect to be robbed at dinner £4 for a bottle of water. A £10 bottle of Malbec here is over £80 when charges and taxes are applied. We were full board and it was confusing and conditional where we could eat and what we could eat. Then there were surcharges on certain dishes. All these small things just annoyed me. If I’m going to pay £2000 per night it will be all inclusive somewhere. This is the second Six Senses resort I’ve stopped in within the last few weeks and I’m sorry to say we won’t do another one. The decided to clean the windows in the main restaurant while we were having lunch one day. It was small things like this that I felt spoilt it. The staff knew of my frustration with all these things and did try to make my stay comfortable.

As close to flawless as any resort hotel I have stayed in. Stunning location, sublime service, first class dining and wonderful villas (take a beach front one). The range of activities is impressive too and I am sure no other hotel allows you to arrive by paragliding! Special mention to the butler service (for us Abhilash) which was exceptionally responsive and helpful. I will certainly be returning!

Family visit end of October for a week - had an absolutely fantastic time. Transfers from Dubai very straightforward and no drama crossing the border. The drive over the mountains is very dramatic! The resort itself is pristine, public areas are very well maintained. Very family friendly, most people were there with kids from what we saw. We had a pool villa, I think just the standard room, but it's very spacious with a large outdoor space and lovely pool. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a beachfront villa but I really didn't think it was worth it. The room itself was spotless and well looked after, most morning it was tidied before we were even back from breakfast. I've seen some criticism that the rooms are a bit dated and it's true that some minor things like electrical fittings might be in need of updating (there are no USB ports for example) but I really think that's secondary. The room (indeed the whole resort) is meant to have a rustic feel - this isn't Dubai. Service was consistently excellent. People are always offering to help or asking if you need anything. Sanjana our guest experience manager was super helpful and always available to answer queries and make bookings etc. Great kids club which my son loved - you can just come and go whenever, no need to book or anything like that. The food is really good, especially breakfast, where there is a great choice. As many people have mentioned here, the food and drink (especially alcohol) is very expensive, so I think half board is a must. Also, annoyingly they add tax and service on to everything at the end, so you end up paying 22% more than the prices shown. Some of the 'event' dinners on the beach carry hefty surcharges even if you're on half board, and while the food and choice is great, it can be eye-watering. My advice is to go mentally prepared for a chunky bill at the end and factor it in to your budget. Final tip - do the sustainability tour if you're interested to see 'behind the scenes' of a place like this - how it's run etc. We thought it was fascinating.
