La Villa Luz (sólo Adultos)

Truly love this hotel and all it has to offer... our room was amazing with a beautiful view, the bed was extremely comfortable which to me is important. The Hotel is beautifully decorated and who ever designed it did a phenomenal job. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Since we don't know the area and our first time there, Fernanda the manager the most friendliest person you will ever meet helped us with reservations, day trips, and anything else we needed. We loved the short walking distance to the beach, everything is pretty walking distance from us and the Cab station is just a few steps away if we needed to go to the market, marina or downtown. So the location is also great. All in all we will definitely be back and how we found this hotel was through our neighbor who goes every year sometimes twice!

We stayed in LV1 which had the view and it was wonderful. The staff was amazing. Book through their website for free breakfasts. They had fresh baked pastries almost every morning. Be prepared for stairs. I would say my only caution is that if you are sensitive to heat, LV1 room was very open air and therefore didn’t cool off with the AC. However, I slept comfortably all but one night. My husband thinks the open air is positive but he’s not going through menopause.

Lovely little peaceful, relaxing b &b in Zihutanejo. Just a 5 minute stroll to playa la ropa & all the restaurants & beautiful beach. Our room was on the top floor which we highly recommend to get the best views from the balcony. Beautiful landscaping throughout leading up to your room. Dramatic entrance hall into the room separating the big lovely bathroom on one side & a smallish bedroom opposite. Minor grumble.... bedrooms need a place to put your clothes. Only a handful of hangers provided. We kept our clothes on top of our suitcase. Breakfast one morning the cook was a no show. A bit disappointed but there are loads of places to find breakfast on the beach. Lastly, if your room is on a higher level be prepared to walk up & down spiral stairs. Final verdict....we loved La Villa luz & would stay here again....9 out of 10.

A beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful detail and lovely comforts. The room and bed were super comfortable, the room was full of considered luxury details, the pool was divine, the breakfasts were excellent and they had lots of great tips and advice of what to do in the area. All that and a 3 minute walk to the beach! I couldn't fault this hotel. We will be back for sure!!!

La Villa Luz La Villa Luz is a small casa beautifully tucked away on the hillside above the Ropa beach. It’s a perfect location to get around La Ropa and Zihua comfortably without a car. Taxi stand is a block down the hill, easily accesible. Also most spots are walkable, even into town. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed and felt at home. Our lovely room had a panoramic view of La Ropa and the pool. We woke to birds singing every morning and a cool breeze off the Bay. Sofia prepared beautiful a breakfast each morning full of flavors. Ericka was very helpful, quick and thorough her cleaning and kind with all of our requests. All staff were kind and amenable to our needs. Thanks to La Villa Luz for a relaxing and easy s tay in Zihua. We will be back. Tip: For chair rentals on the beach, the best at The Thompson hotel. You pay for the day pass but it all goes towards your eat and drink.

The “Luz” is an awesome place to stay in Zihua!.It’s an eight room boutique hotel. Each room is amazingly decorated.The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained. It’s a short 2 minute walk down to Playa la Ropa. The best beach in Zihuatanejo! Ania who runs the hotel and her great staff ( Isaias, Isael, Erika, Fide and Miguel) do an awesome job of giving each guest a memorable experience.I can’t think of any other place i’d rather stay than at the “Luz”. Ania was amazing with the help she provided booking tours and making suggestions on dining or places to visit. This was my 4th time staying here and i can’t wait to go back! If you’re coming to Zihua don’t hesitate to book La Villa Luz.You won’t regret it. You’re home away from home.
