Our tour guide, Christopher, was extremely knowledgeable & friendly. He made the tour fun with his sense of humour. He also managed to tell us an enormous amount of George Washington history & around that era. It was an interesting tour & well paced. The views of the Potomac river from George Washington’s home are incredible. The home was undergoing much needed renovation when we visited. This did not cause too much disruption to the tour as it is well taken care of by the volunteer guides. The garden’s & acreage make for a lovely walk. The grounds are beautifully maintained. I highly recommend the tour.
