Renfe Children Fare

Renfe offers a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. These children are allowed to select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or request refunds based on the ticket type, which may involve a fee. Children under four travel for free but do not receive a reserved seat. On Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.

Renfe Group Fare

Groups of 4 to 9 people travelling on AVE or AVE International trains receive an 8% discount. Groups of 10 to 25 people travelling on AVE, AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías trains can enjoy up to a 50% discount. For groups larger than 25 people, you can request a quote for approval. Note that all Renfe group tickets are non-changeable. Elige Confort

Elige Confort costs a bit more than Elige Estándar. The notable difference is the wider seats and offer more leg room as they are XL Confort seats.

Prémium

The most expensive fare, Prémium, comes with unlimited free changes and refunds, and XL Confort Seating.
