This was the cheapest place within the walking distance to the city center. But take note that walking means walking up slopes in snow and ice conditions. The main entrance to the hostel was so icy because no one shoveled the snow. The hostel is actually cozy and neat but the entrance is literally the most dangerous place in the whole city I kid you not. Photo attached for reference.
It's self check in and I didnt see anyone locking any rooms or the main entrance when I was there. However, trust basis is quite high and I did enjoy my stay there.

El hotel es muy bonito. La habitación es enorme y super bonita. Tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar.
La terraza también está muy bien pero era compartida con la habitación de al lado
La única pega que encontramos es que no tiene ascensor. Y tiene bastantes escaleras hasta el ático. Si vas cargando con equipaje y tienes problemas de movilidad se complica. Pero por lo que vimos había habitaciones en la planta baja sin ninguna escalera.
Está un poco alejada pero tiene parking gratis y un supermercado al lado

L’hôtel est très propre, il est bien situé, à proximité de jolis fjord et randonnées. Le personnel est très accueillant et donne d’excellents conseils pour les spots d’aurores boréales et les chemins de randonnée à prendre. Il est possible de louer des raquettes et des bâtons pour 300 NOK la journée. Il y a du thé, du café et du porridge à libre disposition. Il y a également un parking gratuit, un Joker pour faire ces courses et un pub à quelques mètres. La communication via le tchat trip est bonne, les réponses sont rapides. Le seul bémol, c’est que j’avais réserver cette établissement des mois en avance, principalement pour son restaurant, car les autres établissement aux alentours ne disposait pas de cuisine partagée. Cependant le restaurant était fermé pour maintenance, je n’avais donc quasiment rien pour me dépanner, car le joker etait déjà fermé quand nous sommes arrivés. J’ai donc du faire des pâtes instantanées avec la bouilloire dans le couloir. J’aurais pensé à des prix plus bas sur les réservations en raison de la maintenance du restaurant, c’est dommage. Je recommande quoi qu’il arrive cet établissement.

Excellent ! J’ai reservé sans prêter attention et j’ai été surpris. L’auto check-in est très simple, il y a un grand parking gratuit. Les chambres sont propres et les lits confortables. La pièce commune pour se poser le soir est incroyable, digne d’un vrai chalet de montagne. Il y a un piano, un platine vinyles, des jeux de cartes, des livres, un poil à bois et des baies vitrées avec vu sur le fjord. Une vrai ambiance chaleureuse. De plus il y a une machine à laver et un sèche linge à libre disposition. Les cuisines sont très bien équipées et il y a en plus un placard réservées uniquement pour la « Free food ». Il y a également des boites de rangement annotées pour la nourriture de chaque chambre. Le personnel est très accueillant. Je recommande cet hébergement, j’y reviendrais dans le futur.

Det tillfälliga beslutet att boka hotellet, även om jag inte fick lösenord när jag kom till hotellet på kvällen, men när jag såg telefonnummeret, kontaktade jag hotellet och stannade. Efter att ha stannat, i is och snö, skickade hotellet två personer till mitt rum för att bekräfta om det fanns något annat som jag var upptagen av.

Very cozy stay, spacious enough for tourists luggages. A very user friendly kitchen with all you need (but would even better if with cooking oil coming along). Very warm bathroom and good washing machine. Nice view and convenient location (just 15 mins bus to the city centre) considering the good deal of price and good view of the alps. A pretty big Kiwi grocery supermarket is just downstairs of the apartment, so it’s definitely worth a stay:)

The address is Månetoppen 38d, 9321 Moen i Målselv. The apartment is also referred to as B6. How to get there: Follow the E6 to Olsborg about 12 kilometers north of Bardufoss. When you get to Olsborg, turn off the E6 and drive towards Rundhaug/Øverbygd (road 87). Follow this road about 9 kilometers until you see the sign that leads you up to Målselv Fjellandsby. From there, turn towards the resort and drive 4-5 kilometers to the welcome center/ski cafe. Drive a couple of hundred meters past the welcome center/ski cafe and turn right up to Månetoppen and the B-block. See the picture below for a more detailed description of where the Penthouse Månetoppen apartment is. It is the apartment on the third floor in the picture, marked B6 by the door.
Parking: You can park your car outside the B-block/appartment. No fixed spaces. It is also possible to park in the large parking lot below the welcome center/ski cafe.
The lock code to open the front door will be sent you before you check-in. It is 6 digits plus a square key.

Separate toilet and bathroom. There are some rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. Bring extra if you rent for many days.
Bed linen and towels are in the bedrooms. Extra bed linen is in the wardrobe in the innermost bedroom (Hemsedal room). Extra towels are in the cupboard under the sink in the bathroom. Please bring hygiene items (soap, shower gel, shampoo).
There are three bedrooms in the apartment, the Målselv room, the Hemsedal room and the Narvik room. One of these bedrooms will be locked when we rent out. We will put personal items in this room.
When checking out, sweep the floor/do some light washing and leave the apartment as it was when you arrived. Vacuum
