"We started our final China trip form Ürümqi followed by Turpin and Dunhuang. While our hotels there were reasonable, we felt really comfortable when we stayed at at a Club floor room at Sofitel Xining. Their service was one of the best we have experienced during our seven China trips so far. We enjoyed the comfort and the staff’s dedicated service. Thank you."

"This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment."

"Very nice hotel - centrally located The hotel is very clean. The room was big and comfortable with good amenities and very comfortable beds. Our room was clean and good. It was also possible to open the window a little if you want fresh air. The hotel is located «above» a mall, you must take the elevator to the 19th floor where the reception and restaurant is located. This was absolutely no problem, and the location is excellent. There is a vibrant and modern area around the hotel. It’s not close to the railway station, but catching taxi or even bus is easy. The breakfast was very good and had a nice selection of Chinese food. Tasty and fresh dishes, and nice service from the staff in the restaurant. The service of the staff in the reception was very good. We stayed for two nights, first one and then we returned again because of the good service and overall quality of the hotel. The staff didn’t exercise much English, but with the translation apps it’s absolutely no problem to communicate. If you have WeChat it’s super easy to communicate - the hotel has its own WeChat. BoLi Hotel provided a very good experience and we can truly recommend this hotel."

"Excellent location. Worth the price. Varied breakfast options. Recommended for families. Parking underground option little inconvenient and parking fees for hotel stay is expensive and shocking. Otherwise room is spacious enough and clean. Staff were helpful and check in and out process was quick and seamless."

"The front desk staff of the hotel called us before we arrived at the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk's service attitude was also very warm. The room also gave fruit and yoghurt. We also accepted breakfast and dinner time. The room was very clean. It was very close to the railway station. It was also very convenient. It also helped upgrade the room type. The northwest trip was very perfect. Next time I will come again."

"I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is."

"西北之行最滿意的一家酒店，必須實名好評！ 全程住過最舒服的一家，服務熱情貼心，讓人感覺特別温暖。房間寬敞整潔、空間很大，隔音效果超棒，休息得很安心。 因為高原反應有點不舒服，酒店貼心提供了供氧服務，房間還配有加濕器，細節直接拉滿，極大緩解了旅途不適。 早餐也很驚艷，雞湯米線鮮香味美，烤腸也超好吃，味道很贊。看我們趕行程還打包早點和水果，方便又暖心。 整體體驗無可挑剔，性價比超高，下次來一定還選這家！"

"獨自出行，奔着五星人少且安全，酒店就在路邊，出門往右走100米就是公交車站，到陌生城市喜歡坐公交，果然特別方便一路車可以到莫家街、下關南街，到了莫家街溜達穿來穿去還能到大新街夜市，總之公交車真的很方便，坐過好幾條線路，基本上到目的地都不用換乘。回到酒店，三四張照片就是站在房間裏拍的，直接能看到土觀樓。"

"This is really an International Hotel with 5 star standard. Service, amenities and room toiletries is of premium quality except the central aircon is not switched on so the room temperature is at 25°C cannot be adjusted much lower, only can switch to fan full blast but not cold. When I lodge a complaint, the staff says they don't switch the central aircon for month of May but advise to just open the window as it gets cold in the evening. The cold air do come in through the window to keep the room cool.They will switch on the central aircon in month of June and July when it's very hot. Overall I love this hotel as it's next to the railway station and many local street food around the hotel. Highly recommended!"
