A Surprising and Rejuvenating Journey I was immediately smitten with the Meihao Li Zhi Hotel upon my first stay. The experience was flawless! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was enveloped in a subtle fragrance that was calming and natural. The “fragrant” atmosphere permeated everything, from the public areas to the rooms. Even the toiletries had the same scent. It was an olfactory cure. The room facilities are fantastic. The smart voice control for lighting and curtains is incredibly convenient. The bedding on the 2-meter-wide bed is soft and skin-friendly. The bathroom, with its separation of wet and dry areas, features a smart toilet. The free laundry room and gym equipment are newly installed and fully equipped. All needs for business trips and travel are met. The environment is even more impressive, with a blend of Eastern aesthetics and modern luxury, featuring bamboo and wood elements that add a touch of tranquility and sophistication. The public areas are clean and well-organized, and the room’s soundproofing is excellent, allowing guests to feel completely at ease. The hygiene standards were impeccable, the floors were spotless, the bedding was pristine and odor-free, even the corners and drainpipes were clean and free of any nooks or crannies. Walking barefoot felt safe. The service was even more heartwarming; the customer service manager, Xiao Qiu, recommended nearby restaurants, responded to requests 24 hours a day, and showed great attention to detail. What was particularly fortunate was that, upon check-in, we received a complimentary gift from the hotel. Upon checking out, we discovered that some forgotten items had been carefully preserved. This unexpected joy made our journey even more fulfilling. From the facilities to the services, from hygiene to the ambiance, every aspect showcases thoughtful attention to detail. It’s definitely the top choice for future trips! A very lucky trip. I’ll come back next time and highly recommend it.

Jag var djupt imponerad av mitt boende på Xana Hotelle (Beijing Road). Servicen var utmärkt, personalen var varm, vänlig och artig. Mitt rum låg på 41:a våningen, och att vakna varje morgon till en så magnifik panoramautsikt över staden var oförglömligt. Convenient and comfortable — perfect for transit in Guangzhou! I recently stayed at the JI Hotel near Guangzhou South Railway Station, and I’m very pleased with my choice. The hotel is ideally located for travellers arriving by high‑speed rail — it’s just a short walk from the station’s East Square, which made my arrival and departure incredibly easy. Location: 9/10. The proximity to Guangzhou South Railway Station is the hotel’s biggest advantage. I reached the hotel in under 5 minutes on foot from the station exit. This is a real lifesaver if you have an early train or a late arrival. The area is safe and well‑lit at night. While it’s not in the city centre, the metro (Shibi Station) is accessible, allowing you to reach downtown Guangzhou quickly. The room was compact but very well designed. It felt modern and clean. Everything was in good condition, and the room was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Staff were polite and efficient. Check‑in was quick, and the front desk staff spoke enough English to help me with basic questions. Value for money: 10/10. For the price I paid, the quality of the accommodation and the convenience of the location were excellent. This hotel is clearly designed for practicality — it’s not a luxury resort, but it delivers everything a transit or business traveller needs. I would highly recommend the JI Hotel to anyone using Guangzhou South Railway Station. It’s clean, convenient, and offers great value. It made my trip stress‑free, and I would definitely stay here again.

Toalettspolningssystemet är också mycket bra, och städpersonalen ser till att dagliga toalettartiklar tillhandahålls. Om du behöver tvätta din tvätt tillsätter tvättmaskinen automatiskt tvättmedel och sköljmedel, vilket sparar dig besväret med att packa ditt eget tvättmedel. Det finns två hissar som för närvarande är under underhåll och uppgradering, så endast en hiss är tillgänglig, så var beredd på väntetiden. We are a retirees from Canada. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is ideal for visiting the Nantou ancient city. The surrounding area has nice shops and many places to eat. The laundry facilities are clean and the machines are modern and powerful. There is no cost to do laundry. The gym only has an elliptical, treadmill, rowing machine, a slanted bench and a yoga mat. There are no free weights or kettlebell - those would make a nice addition. I will note that the rowing machine needs some cleaning and lubrication. The staff at the desk, the housekeeping staff, and the kitchen staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel has a couple of grey cats that spend most of their time in a large enclosure near the package reception. However one like to wander and is sometimes kept me company in the gym and laundry area.

Rummet var ganska rent. Vi kom dit lite tidigt och rummen var inte redo än, så vi checkade in först och fick vänta i över två timmar innan ett rum blev ledigt. Vi hade bokat två rum och ville gärna ha dem nära varandra. Receptionen ligger på Beijing Road, vilket är väldigt bekvämt. Precis utanför är gågatan, och det är verkligen livligt där. Rummet låg på 25:e våningen och var mycket tyst, ingen störande buller alls när man skulle sova, vilket var jättebra! Receptionens service var också bra. Man kunde förvara bagaget där, men receptionens lounge var väldigt begränsad, med bara fyra soffor. Toaletterna låg på 30:e våningen och man behövde ett kort från receptionen för att komma upp med hissen. Hotellets läge är fantastiskt, som Nanjing Road i Shanghai.

I stayed at the Mahjong room with 3 single beds . Location was good cause a few shopping malls was just around the corner . There is a taxi stand in front of the hotel. This hotel is actually in an office /commercial building was on the 10th floor . The only complain is there is NO towel/ clothes hook in the bathroom .

Lobbyn var elegant inredd med en härlig atmosfär. Rummet var nytt, välutrustat, ljust och rymligt. Badrummet var rent och hade en separat våt- och torrdel, och toalettartiklarna var från Lux. Vattentrycket var utmärkt och stabilt, och sängkläderna var väldigt bekväma. Frukosten nästa dag överträffade också alla förväntningar. Förutom den rika buffén fanns det även en station där man kunde beställa lokala nudelrätter som tillagades på beställning. En liten incident vid utcheckningen gjorde att jag nu bara kommer att bo på det här hotellet när jag är i Guangzhou. I all hast glömde jag en jacka i rummet, och vi hade redan hunnit ut på motorvägen när jag fick ett samtal från hotellet. De hade inte bara tagit hand om jackan ordentligt, utan erbjöd sig också att skicka den hem till mig. Ett hotells syfte är att ge gästerna en känsla av trygghet och tillhörighet bortom hemmet, och det lyckades de med genom sin diskreta omtanke, lagom distans och uppmärksamhet på varje detalj. Det var inte bara ett stopp på resan, utan har blivit anledningen till att jag kommer tillbaka till den här staden nästa gång.

The location is not where the most tourist attractions are, but there are also good choices of food around and a number of buses around. The room size is good. It would have been better if the bathroom door is sliding as with the present setting, you need to close the door before you can use the sink. The carpet is old and has stains. We saw a couple of cockroach during our 4-day stay. The staff at the concierge were very helpful. They tried hard and helped us to buy our bus tickets back to Zhuhai as we could not do so with our phone. Overall it's value for money.

Very convenient hotel, especially if you have an early flight! It’s super close to the airport, and while they do provide a free shuttle service, we chose to use Didi since it was quicker and more flexible. The rooms are clean, neat, and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is also a nice bonus with a wide variety of options. I’ve stayed here before when catching a flight and will definitely stay again, perfect for airport travel.
