Location isWe stayed 2 nights at Bo Yangshuo Hotel. The location is very convenient, right at the start/end of West Street (西街), making it easy to walk around while still being slightly away from the noise. We booked a family room with a bunk bed, which was comfortable and suitable for families. Overall, everything was good and well-maintained. One downside worth highlighting is that the toilet glass partition has been removed, so sounds from flushing, hand washing, and showering are quite loud. The bed head is located just above the toilet area, so it can be disturbing at night. Also, when using the bathtub, be careful as water may splash onto the bed area. Aside from this issue, our stay was pleasant and the location is a big plus, especially for first-time visitors to Yangshuo.

I wish I could give this place a million stars if I could. Our stay was perfect. The owner greeted us when we arrived and shared her extensive knowledge of tea while pouring us endless delicious cups. She also recommended places to hike and eat. The rooms are lovely, super comfortable beds with stunning views. The amenities are wonderful, a beautiful pool in a tranquil courtyard, hot-tubs upon request, discounted tickets to numerous local attractions, and an excellent breakfast - to name a few. There are also cocktails served in your room from 8pm to midnight. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling and offering drinks or snacks. We loved every minute here and I would have liked to stay forever. While it is outside of town, don’t let that deter you. Yangshuo proper is a short Didi ride away. The hotel also has electric scooters for rent, which are great fun to zip about on. There are many lovely restaurants just a few minutes away, especially the farmer’s restaurant across the street and Lulu’s restaurant just a short distance down the road. (Try the 苦瓜 - bitter gourd stuffed with pork - it’s AMAZING!!!) Give this beautiful hotel a try, you won’t regret it!

Even though we stayed for only one night and our booking did not include breakfast (because we had to leave very early the next morning), the hotel staff treated us extremely well. The receptionist kindly upgraded our room for free and also allowed us to have breakfast at the hotel without any extra charge, which was a very pleasant surprise. The location is excellent, especially for travelers using the train. The hotel is very close to Guilin Railway Station, and since there is no subway in Guilin, this made our travel much easier and more convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities and accessories we needed. The interior design is modern but cozy, making the stay relaxing even for a short time. Overall, the service was warm, thoughtful, and beyond expectations. I really appreciated the kindness and flexibility of the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guilin, especially those who need a convenient location near the railway station.

Vi bodde med tvillingar och en 9-åring. Måste ge ett toppbetyg, servicen var helt fantastisk 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Vi bodde på tionde våningen, precis vid lekplatsen, rent och rymligt. Barnen hade jätteroligt. Frukosten var också mycket bra, med ett brett utbud. De packade till och med kaffe med Guilin-märkning åt oss, och eftersom barnen inte dricker kaffe packade de ner deras egna önskade drycker istället. De packade också ner bullarna som tvillingarna inte ätit upp. Även om det inte var något värdefullt, värmde det verkligen hjärtat ❤️❤️, eftersom vissa ställen inte tillåter att man tar med sig mat från buffén, även om det skulle slösas bort. Sammantaget var upplevelsen mycket bra, det är det bästa hotellet jag har bott på i samma prisklass hittills.

Extremely friendly staff and they definitely out preformed and went the extra miles to welcome their guests! The electric scooter rental is great and the price is also good. Location is beautiful, stunning, magnificent and breathtaking! You cannot go wrong with the view in this location and what this hotel has to offer you. There are also many attractions and view points in the location. Breakfast had a nice touch to it and you get a few options,mainly western but also their local noodle dish which you can have for breakfast a great way to experience a different culture. If you need to do laundry then they have the facilities for you to do so. Over all I would come back for sure.

A lovely renovated and pleasant hotel. I really liked everything — the room is very large, a panoramic window with a magnificent view, comfortable mattresses and furniture. The breakfasts in the restaurant on the 9th floor with amazing views were delicious and varied. All the staff were very helpful, starting with the welcome tea and helping with the luggage. The hotel has a wonderful tour manager who offers good prices for excursions. I would especially like to mention the girl Xiao Cloud, our dedicated concierge. She was very helpful, always in touch and helped us with everything. We were also given a wonderful gift from the hotel. I'm thrilled, I highly recommend it! Next time, we'll definitely stop right there. The city itself is beautiful!

This hotel is well located, next to the Elephant Hill park, short walk distance to The Sun and Moon twin towers, the Zhengyang pedestrian street and many wharf where the boat trips start. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, they come with a free mini bar stocked up with water and sodas. There is free teas and snacks served from 3pm onwards, which it is a really nice gesture from the hotel.

Great hotel surrounding with mountains. Free upgraded for bigger and nicer room. Perfect location with West Street just within walking distance. There are many restaurants or street foods nearby. Also, there is greenery park besides the hotel for workout. Value for money.

Behind the hotel, there is a huge lake and walking trail viewing Guilin scenery. Even if it was hot to visit some travel spots, we can enjoy walking around the hotel and shoot some good photos. The breakfast was not bad compared to a room rate. I cannot say all service and facilities are good to stay because it is too old. 😅 it reminds of an old-style Chinese hotel. We had dinner at a hotel restaurant and ordered the 4 persons package. It doesn’t taste fresh but not too bad. There were only two teams including us, having dinner. We had a calm and peaceful dinner time. The staff was very friendly. ❤️ However, if you care of the location and prices, this hotel is reasonable 😆

A lovely place for staycation. It was so serene and the view, looking at the rice terraces, replenishes one’s soul and relaxes not just your eyes but your whole body. I love the position of the bath tub overlooking the rice terraces and the nearby osmanthus trees. Morning walk along the path and seeing the ready smile of the locals was sweet. The bed and pillow are comfy and clean. Had we stayed for more than 2 nights, I would have used the washing machine in our room 😉 We had our breakfast, not much options but filling, and dinner (not included in the booking fee and the food in the menu are freshly cooked once you order) at the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel staff are accommodating. They even helped us arrange a car to bring us to and from the hotel. Free use of traditional costume for pictorial.
