Hotell med 4-stjärniga i Guangxi, Kina

This hotel is very conveniently located at the top of the pedestrian street - is an easy ten minute stroll to the pagodas and another 5 or so minutes to the elephant trunk hill. The friendly service, cleanliness and facilities are all fantastic. The travel desk helped me book a river cruise - very easy with the pick up location for the bus shuttle just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was great but also go for dinner and have the delicious cold beans and Guilin rice noodle dishes. Special thank you to Patrick for the excellent service and help. Would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed solo for 4 days at Gu’an Yuefeng Hotel and overall the experience was very pleasant. Even though the staff almost always struggled with English, they were kind and helpful. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the magical karst hills and panoramic views that Guilin is famous for. One of the best things is the location: the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, and one of the hills is literally right next to the building. From my balcony, I could admire the magnificent Guilin landscape every day. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but it’s clear that they are still expanding and improving the facilities. The washing and drying machines were extremely convenient, and the Wi-Fi was very fast, which made the stay comfortable even for a longer solo visit. The only small downside was that I did not receive the special noodles at check-out, which had been mentioned beforehand. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with beautiful views, a great surrounding area, and good practical amenities.

With its tech-savvy rooms activated by voice command, this hotel has much to recommend itself. With its wall mounted water dispensing system allowing one to set temperature and get hot, warm or cold water at the press of a few buttons (rendering a kettle obsolete), a disinfectant cabinet for cups and glasses and a glass-fronted fridge named ”a soda fountain” where the mineral water, beers and fizzy drinks are kept, plus a motion sensor toilet bowl with heated seat, the rooms, though compact and lacking in counter and storage space, are made for ease and convenience. Among the hotel's comprehensive amenities are an outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry and gym, a tea room, a truly well furnished children's play area with game consoles and a niche for experiencing traditional crafts like fan dyeing. The attention to detail in its interior decor renders this establishment extremely camera-worthy. Its location right beside the serene Ronghu Park means the bulk of the rooms faces the lake with its panoramic vistas. A pity the television has no English language channels, not even their national CGTN.

Such a gem in Liuzhou, good location, amazing view and the best service ever from concierge, front desk, housekeeping and all. You will never regret staying here. The stay made our entire trip so memorable.

A lovely renovated and pleasant hotel. I really liked everything — the room is very large, a panoramic window with a magnificent view, comfortable mattresses and furniture. The breakfasts in the restaurant on the 9th floor with amazing views were delicious and varied. All the staff were very helpful, starting with the welcome tea and helping with the luggage. The hotel has a wonderful tour manager who offers good prices for excursions. I would especially like to mention the girl Xiao Cloud, our dedicated concierge. She was very helpful, always in touch and helped us with everything. We were also given a wonderful gift from the hotel. I'm thrilled, I highly recommend it! Next time, we'll definitely stop right there. The city itself is beautiful!

Excellent location allows you to wheel your luggage from the train station in minutes, yet most of the city is still easily accessible on foot, metro or escooter. The hotel itself is large but immaculate. A good breakfast is available. All this at a very reasonable price. Special thanks to Lee, a charming front desk man who was able to help me with my stay, speaking excellent English

Wonderful hotel. My room had an unblocked view of the mountains and paid fields. 7th floor rooftop has a pool and very nice views. Service was excellent. The room was very clean. Breakfast was Chinese style breakfast which suited our taste. You can rent an e bike from the front of the hotel cheaply and ride around the area. Or if you prefer you could also ride the free bicycles provided by the hotel.

Läget är mycket bekvämt – mitt i centrum, så två äldre personer som reser själva kan promenera till sevärdheter som Duxiu Peak, East and West Alleys, Elephant Trunk Hill och till och med Seven Star Park. Framför hotellet, på Zhongshan Middle Road, finns en busshållplats där man enkelt kan ta bussen till höghastighetstågstationen, hamnen och andra längre bort belägna platser. Bra rumsfaciliteter – Rummet var mycket rent och sängen var fläckfri. Alla bekvämligheter fanns tillgängliga. Utmärkt och omtänksam service – De två äldre resenärerna, som reste ensamma och inte talade mandarin helt flytande, krävde en hel del hjälp från personalen. Men hotellpersonalen var mycket vänlig, tålmodig och omtänksam – från att aktivt hjälpa till med bagaget vid ankomst och ställa in Wi-Fi, till att omedelbart skicka en guide med resmål och matställen i närheten via WeChat, assistera med koordinering av hämtning och lämning med lokala turgrupper, och lösa mobilproblem. De hjälpte till helhjärtat utan att visa minsta otålighet, vilket gjorde de äldres ”självguidade” resa tryggare. Kvaliteten på personalens service och attityd på detta hotell är, jämfört med hotellpersonal jag tidigare mött både nationellt och internationellt, helt exceptionell. Pris: Att bo här under lågsäsong i Guilin, i kombination med aktiviteter från Ctrip, gjorde priset mycket förmånligt. Extremt prisvärt! Sammanfattning: Det finns många hotell i närheten, men detta hotell utmärker sig med sin exceptionella service och rena rum, vilket avsevärt förbättrar reseupplevelsen. Rekommenderas starkt för resenärer med äldre familjemedlemmar eller familjer med barn.

Amazing room, just like the pictures show. The view from our room is amazing (first two pictures). We got the family room for the double windows but my mom's room which was the ”mountain view” room had two windows also and amazing views too. Our room had two beds and a tub. The room was also extremely clean.  There is also a rooftop (last picture) with amazing views for sunset. No pool like the pictures on the roof.  The staff were also amazing and helpful (my mom spoke Chinese so I can't say how their english is). They helped us with our itinerary and helped book tickets. The breakfast was above average - noodles made to order.  The location of the hotel is great - it is connected by a small street into the ”Ancient Town” streets, and it is a 20 minute walk from the 20 rmb view.
