We had a wonderful stay at Shuiyunlan Hotel in Wuhan. The hotel offers a perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and elegance. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. Everything was spotless, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming.
The staff were especially impressive, polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled quickly and efficiently. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, shopping, and transportation. OI would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wuhan.

The Hotel is located in a Building that consists of 5 hotels, and it takes the top several floors, which makes a really nice view of the city. Room is clean and the bed is really comfortable. Really like the memory foam pillow and have a really good sleep. The staffs are really nice and helpful. Recommended Hotel and will stay there again if I visit Wuahn in the future.

Hotel was beautiful, very clean and service was amazing (reception didn’t understand English but was very helpful and patient with helping me). The hotel is also within walking distance to a lot of food and shops so It was nice to stroll about the area. The streets are peaceful and it’s nice to walk around the lake which is situated next to the hotel. Just be mindful that the hotel is located within a bank building, and to request a non-smoking room if that’s what you’re after! Other than that, my stay was pleasant and I’ll definitely be back in the future.

The hotel is great, the room is very comfortable, the environment is very good, the service is very intimate and in place, everyone in front has a sweet smile, and the check-in is fast. My boyfriend and I just had the most special stay here. From the moment we arrived, the wonderful team looked after us and helped with everything and anything we could want. We’d wanted to eat dinner upon arrival, and so they provided some of the nicest Chinese food I’ve had to date! My recommendation is the fried eggs and leek. We were obsessed! 🤤 The room and the amenities were really high quality, and I especially enjoyed the incredible view from our bedroom. Daily, we were given snacks and fruits. The food was so good that we ordered again on our second night. Truly, the food was 10/10!! For the room, everything was clean, modern and worked well. All the staff were excellent, too. Yang Yang was especially wonderful (picture of us together!) and made sure we had the best time. She helped with organising our trip, including travel. She is a warm, kind person who made all the difference to our trip. She also introduced us to 土豆 the cat—he was just as delightful! As a foreigner in China, sometimes it can be tricky to navigate how best to travel certain areas. This hotel and the wonderful people here made us feel at home. Thanks so much for this memorable trip, Yang Yang —and also to all the lovely people there! You MUST stay here for the best hotel outside Enshi Grand Canyon!! 💚

Location is good as next to Jianghan Pedestrian shopping Street. Easily accessible to food alley, cafes and restaurants. Staff at reception , breakfast cafe and housekeeping are courteous and helpful. Breakfast - a good spread of different varieties of food.

Location is at T2 and If you landed in T3 have to walk 10mins to T2 then cross over the road. Their service was very good, room is very clean and breakfast was great too... Will stay here again if coming to Wuhan again

SShalinda WIf you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station.
Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked).
The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning.
In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.

BBelitskay TravelA good hotel with excellent service! The staff doesn't speak English, but they are very welcoming and friendly. They helped us with all our questions using a translator. There's a laundry room and a gym on the 16th floor. The only disappointing thing was the cleaning. The rooms are new, but quite dirty. The floor is sticky, and there was ash in the toilet as soon as we checked in, and it wasn't cleaned during our entire stay.

Somerset is a charming establishment situated in a bustling commercial and residential district, conveniently located above a mall filled with shops and restaurants. With subway access just at the basement, it’s an ideal destination for both business travelers and vacationers looking to explore the area. Our recent stay in a two-bedroom apartment with a fantastic night city view was enjoyable, with a few minor hiccups that didn’t overshadow the overall experience.
Check-In Experience:**
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and complimentary drinks, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. They provided detailed information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions.
Room Quality:**
Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a stunning night view of the city skyline. The modern decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen area was well-equipped, with coffee machine, washer and dryer, making it easy during our stay.
Amenities:**
The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna and jacuzzi. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, with Wuhan noodles made to order.
Location:**
Located above a vibrant mall, Somerset Hotel provides easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. The subway exit in the basement makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. While the highway is nearby, the hotel maintains a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day.
Service:**
Overall, the service was excellent. Staff members were attentive and quick to address any concerns. A special shoutout to COCO who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. She was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Manager APRIL deserves high praise for all the wonderful arrangements she made for our visit.
Conclusion:**
Somerset Hotel is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city. With its friendly staff, great amenities, and prime location, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet convenient getaway. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

SSpunkThis hotel has an ideal location on Qindao Road. It's also close to Jianghan Pedestrian Road. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms luxurious. They gave us free gifts and upgraded our room for free when they saw our family size. It was a very comfortable experience. Will definitely come again. The surrounding environment is great for pictures, so bring something fancy that you might want to take a professional photo in 🤗 (not required, but would be a plus). Oh, the smart room was also a plus. The AI robot could turn on the light and A/C, close the curtains and order extra slippers or anything we needed from the receptionist. Highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, the service was the let down, reception staff showed no interest, no eye contact, no communication, didn’t tell me where is the restaurant opening hours, inclusions of my room and worst didn’t even tell me where is the lift to get to our room.

GGästanvändareHotel are under renovation upgrading, the staff told it will be have construction sound start from 7.30am to 7.30pm, and hotel located at most busy street, after 10pm still noisy outside, but the hotel will provide ear plug, very good service. The room is clean and spacious, highly recommend if accepted the environments here are noisy.

GGästanvändareThe hotel is clean, modern with state of the art technology. The lobby manager Ms Ma was marvelous. She helped us to get the shuttle car to send us the airport the day we left. She then made some follow up call to tell us that they found a cosmetic brush in the room of my colleague. She offered to keep it for us until our next stay. We thanked her for her kindness but told her to dispose of it. We really appreciate her friendliness and professionalism. We will stay there for our next trip.
