We stayed at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka during our recent family trip and had a generally pleasant stay. We travelled as a family of four, and the room size was comfortable enough for all of us. The layout was practical and there was sufficient space for luggage and movement. The room itself was clean and reasonably well kept, although the hotel does show some signs of aging, particularly in certain fixtures and furnishings. The location is fairly convenient, with easy access to parts of the city and not too far from the main attractions. It worked well for our short family visit around Melaka. One area that could use improvement is the gym, which unfortunately did not appear to be well maintained during our stay. Some of the equipment seemed worn and the overall condition could be better. Overall, the stay was comfortable and decent for families, especially if you are looking for a reasonably spacious room at a fair price. With some refurbishment and better maintenance of facilities, the hotel could definitely enhance the guest experience further.

It’s a spontaneous trip that we booked the room before we check google reviews. Yet we are aware of the different way of check in. Apparently it’s under awanjiwa management of the *air-bnb* style of room which is the same hotel as The pines. First, If there is choice i may direct book frm the pines , we tried once under the shore & the swiss garden same thing yet also unforgettable trip 😅 I would say hotel charge the prices will assure give the best services maybe . We consider lucky that awanjiwa person in charge is nice and responsible. We got some hicups on the check in and got settle to change another room as u can see frm photos the disaster of the first room we got i told the PIC only the bed and the sink is clean others is all dusty 😵💫 We got changed to another better condition rooms also with some stain on the table n cupboard so i had to clean myself before place anything in. Its not that bad tho, but i would say im not an airbnb guest . 😅 and its feel really weird when u stay in hotel but its like so weird u cant park in the same unit and u just dont feel u are away for a trip as the place u check in like ur neighbor home kind of feel .

The hotel’s location is absolutely excellent—right in the heart of Jonker Walk. Everything is just steps away, whether you want to explore the night market, enjoy local food, or grab a casual drink in the evening. It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay. One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room. The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste. The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay. Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!

För en familj på sex personer var utrymmet mer än tillräckligt – ärligt talat lite överdrivet – men vi uppskattade den snyggt gjorda interiören. De två badrummen gjorde saker och ting mycket effektivare för vår grupp, och sängarna och kuddarna var mycket bekväma. Hela stället var rent och välskött. Incheckningsprocessen gick smidigt och personalen var hjälpsam och vänlig – det uppskattade vi verkligen. Vi hade läst bra recensioner om frukosten, och även om vissa rätter var helt okej måste jag ge ett shoutout till cappuccino och nyonya laksa – det var definitivt höjdpunkterna. Men sittplatserna inomhus var för begränsade. Många gäster var tvungna att äta utomhus, vilket var obehagligt varmt. Utomhuspoolen var rymlig, men tyvärr var inomhuspoolen stängd för underhåll under vår vistelse. Det blev ganska trångt på morgonen, särskilt under rusningstid. Vi använde mest Grab för att ta oss runt i Melaka, men bara en liten varning: The Shore har bara en infartsväg, vilket innebär att upphämtning kan ta lite tid. En av våra turer tog nästan 20 minuter på grund av trafikstockningarna i området. Själva Shore känns ganska tom – det händer inte mycket förutom Breakout escape room och Oceanarium. Matutbudet i köpcentret är ganska begränsat, så det är definitivt bättre att gå dit om du letar efter variation. En nackdel var tvättmaskinen i vår lägenhet – den fungerade inte bra, och det skulle verkligen hjälpa om de kunde överväga att byta ut den. Om vi ​​skulle besöka Melaka igen skulle jag förmodligen utforska andra hotellalternativ.

This the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.

Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning. 1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use. 2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical. 3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom. 4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved. 5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night. 6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating. 7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup. On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved. The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations.

Booked a room with 2 king beds for a 2 night stay w my family. Pros : 1. Spacious room size 2. Comfy beds 3. Beautiful view (we could see the entire city and our window was facing towards sea) 4. Free Parking 5. 10-15 mins walking distance to the River Cruise 6. No problems with lifts. Just some additional notes for travellers : (If) you don’t want room service to clean your rooms bc you don’t mind reusing your towels, you will not be able to receive the complimentary water bottles. For families with cars, (if) you need to travel back and forth between the hotel and outside, you will always need to stop by the lobby counter to validate your carpark ticket in order to get free parking and it’s only valid for 15 minutes (more than enough time).

I had a wonderful stay at Noble Resort Hotel Melaka, and it truly exceeded expectations. The Premier Executive services were exceptional — professional, attentive, and thoughtfully delivered, making the entire stay feel comfortable and well taken care of. The team was warm, efficient, and always ready to assist, which added a premium touch to the experience. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is conveniently situated near shopping malls, making it easy to access retail outlets, cafés, and daily necessities. There are also plenty of food options nearby, from local delights to well-known eateries, so finding great meals was effortless throughout the stay. Rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment to unwind after a full day out. The overall atmosphere of the hotel strikes a great balance between comfort and elegance. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, quality service, and a pleasant stay.

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Melaka! The hotel is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Jonker Street and other main attractions, yet quiet enough for a relaxing night’s rest. The room was comfortable, with cozy beds, good air-conditioning, and all the essentials you’d expect from an international hotel brand. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with directions or local recommendations. Breakfast offered a good variety of both local and Western options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. Parking was convenient, and Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout the stay. Overall, ibis Melaka delivers great value for money — perfect for both leisure and business travelers looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Melaka. Highly recommended!

Ett riktigt hotell med sin egen parkeringsplats.Hotellet är ganska nytt, med tillräckligt med faciliteter som pool och gym.Rummet är rymligt och komplett med grundläggande toaletter.Luftkonditioneringen var bra och hela rummets renhet är genomsnittlig. Det enda lilla problemet med mitt rum var duschområdet.Det finns en sorts blockering med avloppet, men i allmänhet var duschupplevelsen bra med stadigt starkt ström.I allmänhet är detta hotell mycket väl värt priset på något över RM100.
