Our team wants everyone to enjoy the "Hotel Gasthof Schäffflerwirt", but sometimes we cannot meet the expectations of all travelers. It is a little disappointing to hear that your experience was not what you expected based on our hotel photos. Although we always do our best to make our guests happy, we also take all guest feedback seriously and are grateful for it. In your case, please allow us to clarify some of your comments: You were aware of the facilities, the appearance of the room you booked and the price for the overnight stay in advance. We make no secret of this in the description or in the pictures of the hotel room on the hotel website. The room category you booked is the "Standard" room category - the lowest and cheapest category at the Schäfflerwirt. We describe this room category honestly and openly with the words "rustic quality and traditional ambience". You knew the price for the overnight stay in advance and booked it deliberately. The pictures of the selected and booked room correspond exactly to the photos of the booked category on our hotel website. If you did not like the room, you could have approached us at reception and asked for a room change or an upgrade to a different room category, for example to a newly renovated and redecorated "Premium Room". In principle, there are also other room categories in the Hotel Gasthof Schäfflerwirt, with a more spacious room layout, different furniture, design, other colors, shapes and fabrics and other bathrooms. With regard to room bookings, it is always annoying when plans change at the last minute. Our guidelines are clearly visible and communicated when booking the room. We hope you understand that three rooms cannot be sold at short notice during the Oktoberfest. We want all guests to have a first class stay at our hotel and we are truly sorry that this was not the case for you.
