Melasti Beach Resort & Spa Legian recensioner

We have stayed at the Melasti on several occasions as well as many other resorts and hotels. Unfortunately this time the main pool with the swim up bar near reception was under maintenance. The other pool below where we stayed is lovely and deep but sadly to hot (like a bath) for us. But other people seem fine with warm water. As it is an older hotel I recommend staying in the newer part which is the all white building. The older parts just lacking in maintenance including plumbing issues. The cottages closer to the beach are ok also. It is a fantastic location on the beach one side and shops and restaurants bars both sides etc It is a budget hotel and our latest room 225 in the newer part was just fine. Large comfortable, Verandah over looking over the pool and good aircon. As was 250 the time before but it didn't have pool view. Buffet breakfast usually included is ok. Different dishes every day. Price, location location

This was my second booking at this hotel. In total, I stayed there for 5 nights + 1 night of family room. The hotel is located in the centre of Legian, right by the seafront. You have direct access to the sea, you can even enjoy your breakfast with a sea view. Staff were all friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel comes with 3 swimming pools, 3m, 1.5m and 1.6m with some kiddy pools on the side. Apart from the standard room, I thought all the rooms (superior and family) were very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything that you need. I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend to go for the one room above the standard. I stayed in the standard room for the first a couple of nights and the room was dark, in an annex near a noisy road and bars. It would be ok if you just want the cheapest, but for few pounds/dollars extra, I would encourage you to go one level higher, superior comes with pool/garden view. Breakfast of nondescript. It was fine but nothing spectacular. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there, I would return when the price is right.

Standard room close to Karaoke Bar (Screaming singers?) and ended up need to move and an upgrade to a superior room. This room was clean and tidy. Has been recently updated. NO TV thou. Has not been working for awhile I believe. Place is old and needs to be totally renovated. Hubby sick on day 4 and so were 5 others ? Air cond was cool not really cold for 16 degree. Spent more time at the Padma where are friends were staying...Really would think before booking this place. I will not go there again. '

Hotel location is fantastic for the budget

If some of the housekeepers and maintaining were up to par the rooms would look as they do on the website. Unfortunately it was not until we were shown the a third room that we settled for our 4 night stay. All staff we encountered were lovely and the location was good but would walk along the beach walk as the quickest option to go to Seminyak or Kuta. Pool with bar needs repair, balcony mental balustrades are rusting need attending too. The restaurant had singers but no one to be entertained. So much more potential for a resort as big as it is. Ebony spa at the front entrance was good and there is a laundry directly across the road and a minimart. Many people gathered around the pool after a day out and music played. Also a tennis court. The guests we met are very fond of this place as they had been coming for years. Yes I could say maybe it could be a place I would return.

Great stay nice rooms dated but nice 😊

Location of complex is great, unfortunately the rooms were in need of updating. Very old fashion, the safe did not work even though they tried 3 times over a 2 week period to fix. Never managed a hot shower, the water was aways cold. The design of the bathroom ment it was always wet. The rooms were noisy with music going on till after 12am. Some of the towels came back stained. On the plus side the staff couldn't do enough to ensure your stay was ok. I suppose you pay for what you get. Hopefully when they manage to refurbish the place it will be back to a good standard. Even after researching on utube still got it wrong.

The hotel is in an idealistic location within walking distance to restaurants, beaches, shops, and medical facilities. The staff are so warm and friendly and willing to please but unfortunately the rooms needs urgent attention as they are very outdated and some are riddled with mold. Several guests were admitted to hospital with mold related illness. I'd l9ce to visit again if I was given a cleaner room.

Отличный персонал, очень улыбчивые и дружелюбные.Хоть отель и расположен на Куте, но в нем очень спокойно и тихо, никто не мешал спать(для этого района- это редкость)Завтрак не вау, но в ресторане при отеле очень прилично кормят. Хотелось бы более качественную уборку, но понимаю, что на острове распространена эта проблема. Из-под крана соленая вода.Кондиционер еле охлаждал, хоть и работал на максимум. Для своих денег, отель приличный, есть какие-то недочеты, но отдых они не портят.
