Yueting Yushe Hotel (Beijing Wangfujing Street Union Hospital) recensioner

I visited Beijing with my mom which we booked Visual Shiguang Double Bed Room for 4 nights. Here are our experiences; PROS 1. 7 minutes walk from Beijing Railway Station Exit A. Despite desolated alley, It was not bad and there were 6 authority officers walking every now & then. 2. It looks boutique ancient Chinese style as advertised. 3. Even mentioned no amenities but they provided everything everyday all toiletries, towels, slippers. 4. Our room has a mini fridge. 5. They have fridge, microwave, washing & drying machine to use for free in the common area (10am.-10pm.) but only1 machine each. So sometimes they were occupied by others who's not removing their clothes as soon as it finished. Nevertheless, Aside the rooftop sitting area there were many dryers & hangers incase the drying machine is occupied. 6. The toilet has a warmer. CONS 1. The reception does not speak English at all. Therefore, Communication only via translation app. 2. The reception did not have much of human touch or made the guests felt welcome but they assist with possible requests eg. wifi connection, luggage storage. But not possible to get extra pillow which they said it was a standard (but those pillows were quite flat). 3. Despite the area has *Wangfujing* word but not the same area with the walking street. 4. House keeping did bedding only 1st day but the rest bed will look like how you left it. 5. There was no space for suitcase. You will need to cross it to walk. 6. There was no hanger or any place to hang clothes. There was 1 above the toilet which might not drying but the worst part is the toilet lid will touch the towel when you open it. But overall, We paid approx 18$/person so we think it worth the price. There was another places with similar budget, less walk from subway & probably more spacious but we love that boutique style so we tried it once.

The location and cleanliness are excellent! Check-in was efficient, though the reception felt a bit impersonal. Unfortunately, I had trouble sleeping (room n°1) due to noise from the reception space, hallway and the street outside—there’s virtually no soundproofing 😅 That said, the location is a big plus: close to the subway and train station, and just a 25-minute walk to the Forbidden City along an easy route.

It is located quite convenient in the downtown area within a small village-like community. There is a couple of small convenience stores nearby and one restaurant. The room was fine and the front-desk is opened 24 hours, so we had no issues checking in after midnight. The place is quite clean, quiet and has basically everything that you need. Big plus is that the hotel does not smell of cigarettes.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Was on the hunt for a decently priced hotel in Beijing with room for 4 people and was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this one. It’s a cottage loft style room and there were 2 queen sized beds and one single bed. All amenities like towels, personal hygiene and slippers were provided. Only qualm I have is the toilet bowl is inside the shower room hence it’s a bit small and hard to use, also don’t expect amazing customer service from the concierge but the girl that served us on our checkout day was really nice and even extended our check out by an hour. My family loved it and will be staying here again if we are ever in Beijing! Bonus for being near the Beijing railway station and other famous attractions

It’s good value for money. It’s located in a typical neighbourhood and has old style vibes with modern amenities. Good value for money.

The location is good but the service is not very good... don't clean the room during the week, don't give toilet paper without asking, no tea... not very pleasant

We stay in loftroom, nice stay though, plus is unique experience to stay in HUTONG, quite good location, nice and cheap food around. Minus is heat spreading from Heater not smooth, if we maximize the heater, upper room will get really hot, but if we lower the heater, it would quite cold for lower room

It’s located in a hutong. Reception was not friendly. Only 1 pillow provided per person. The room is very small -would be great for 2 person stay but for 3 person it’s cramped. Overall room was clean and there was hot water. Nearby to forbidden city and temple of heaven.

Everything is good, the room is very okay for 5 of us. Have pantry, washing machine, dryer. It’s just that it didn’t provide iron.

Good location near the train station and subway. The room was cleaned every day. Small toilet but ok.

We stayed at this hotel for several days in a room with a shared bathroom. What we didn't know when we booked it was that the hotel didn't have a proper shared bathroom. There was a room with a shower and a couple of metal sinks without mirrors in the hallway. But the toilet is not included in the bathroom or the hotel. You have to use the public toilet on the street next to the hotel, which is also used by neighbors and visitors to the neighborhood. An absolute no-go for a hotel in this price category and this was not described well in the booking description. The hotel is very small and is located in a part of town where only residents live. There are not many restaurants or supermarkets nearby. But within a 10 minute walk you can reach several stores. There is also a metro station nearby. The shared kitchen is very small and only has a fridge, microwave and washing machine. However, it was difficult to use it as the cleaning car was always parked in front of it. There was no other space left in the hotel. Other parts of the corridor were already blocked by containers with sheets, towels etc. The hotel has a nice rooftop terrace, but furniture was not very clean. Every night we saw that the girl from reception was sleeping behind the table. The staff doesn't speak English.

It is a good place to stay, very closed to the metro station. The last day the hot water didn’t work, and we had to have a cold shower and in the front desk they were sleeping. There is a very nice terrace to spend some time. Very quiet place.

Located at a great spot in Beijing, inside a Hutong. Has a lot of charm. Service is good. Has a washing machine and fridge available for use. Toilet for our room was a public toilet outside of the hotel, which was not properly explained on the listing and a bit annoying. Still, we had a very nice stay in Beijing.
