It was very nice, our first room was small but the next room was bigger, interesting interior, very close to the Beijing railway station was good. For foreigners, TV is only allowed to the Chinese

The road is quite narrow so it’s better for the didi driver to let you out on the main road. The Rooms are very small so you can barely fit your suitcase. For 2 persons it’s too tight. Water bottles, slippers and disposable toothbrushes are provided. The bathroom didn’t feel clean. Stains in the sink and hair in the shower when we checked in. We could have asked the room to be cleaned again but honestly for that short stay I didn’t want to make a fuss since communication was already difficult. The rooms were not cleaned once during our stay. Checkout is a noon but 25 mins before they were already knocking on our door. We were gonna leave on time no matter what so I don’t understand why they were stressing already and wanting to „kick“ us out. Worst stay in our 2 weeks trip in Beijing. Solely the location (20 min walking distance from Wangfujing) and the modern toilets were good.

No service basically. I was carrying quite some heavy luggages in the heavy rain. Normally you would expect they open the door for you to enter. But no. The room was cleaned with wet floor left behind.

Bathroom was all wet when we checked in (around 11pm). Other than that, our stay was good.

Very good hotel in the center of Beijing. The price it's a little bite hight for the size of the room.

I visited Beijing with my mom which we booked Visual Shiguang Double Bed Room for 4 nights. Here are our experiences; PROS 1. 7 minutes walk from Beijing Railway Station Exit A. Despite desolated alley, It was not bad and there were 6 authority officers walking every now & then. 2. It looks boutique ancient Chinese style as advertised. 3. Even mentioned no amenities but they provided everything everyday all toiletries, towels, slippers. 4. Our room has a mini fridge. 5. They have fridge, microwave, washing & drying machine to use for free in the common area (10am.-10pm.) but only1 machine each. So sometimes they were occupied by others who's not removing their clothes as soon as it finished. Nevertheless, Aside the rooftop sitting area there were many dryers & hangers incase the drying machine is occupied. 6. The toilet has a warmer. CONS 1. The reception does not speak English at all. Therefore, Communication only via translation app. 2. The reception did not have much of human touch or made the guests felt welcome but they assist with possible requests eg. wifi connection, luggage storage. But not possible to get extra pillow which they said it was a standard (but those pillows were quite flat). 3. Despite the area has *Wangfujing* word but not the same area with the walking street. 4. House keeping did bedding only 1st day but the rest bed will look like how you left it. 5. There was no space for suitcase. You will need to cross it to walk. 6. There was no hanger or any place to hang clothes. There was 1 above the toilet which might not drying but the worst part is the toilet lid will touch the towel when you open it. But overall, We paid approx 18$/person so we think it worth the price. There was another places with similar budget, less walk from subway & probably more spacious but we love that boutique style so we tried it once.

The location and cleanliness are excellent! Check-in was efficient, though the reception felt a bit impersonal. Unfortunately, I had trouble sleeping (room n°1) due to noise from the reception space, hallway and the street outside—there’s virtually no soundproofing 😅 That said, the location is a big plus: close to the subway and train station, and just a 25-minute walk to the Forbidden City along an easy route.

Bit of a hostel vibe, but very clean and quiet, rooms were perfectly fine - very basic and no frills, but the price was fair for what you get so a good value option overall. The rooms were advertised as £90 a night but with a 50% discount, but £45 per night was pretty much about right, so the discount was slightly misleading but thats a small gripe

I was staying in Beijing with my boyfriends for 5 nights at this hotel. The standard room is very, very small, and there is no wardrobe. We had 2 small luggage, 2 backpacks, and 2 bags. There wasn't enough space on the floor to both open the luggage to get our clothes and at the same time move around the room. Small advice, make sure to take a shower at night so that the toilet can get dry before sunset, otherwise you'll be walking all the time on puddles of water while trying to go pee in the water because there's no real separation between the two. The door of the toilet couldn't be locked or closed. If you had to go, you needed to use the toilet bin in front of the door to keep it shut. Another reminder, make sure to tell the reception if you want your bedsheets to be changed, otherwise they won't do it. But overal,l I appreciated the experience for this little price.

The location is convenient. Room not really looked like the photos on the website.

It is located quite convenient in the downtown area within a small village-like community. There is a couple of small convenience stores nearby and one restaurant. The room was fine and the front-desk is opened 24 hours, so we had no issues checking in after midnight. The place is quite clean, quiet and has basically everything that you need. Big plus is that the hotel does not smell of cigarettes.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Was on the hunt for a decently priced hotel in Beijing with room for 4 people and was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this one. It’s a cottage loft style room and there were 2 queen sized beds and one single bed. All amenities like towels, personal hygiene and slippers were provided. Only qualm I have is the toilet bowl is inside the shower room hence it’s a bit small and hard to use, also don’t expect amazing customer service from the concierge but the girl that served us on our checkout day was really nice and even extended our check out by an hour. My family loved it and will be staying here again if we are ever in Beijing! Bonus for being near the Beijing railway station and other famous attractions
