"We checked in, looked around and left to go find another hotel. The smell of cleaning products was SO strong that my asthma immediately started bothering me. Listen to all of the reviewers that mention the strong smell- it's overpowering. We weren't expecting a fancy place, but it just felt unsafe. Carpets looked decades old and desperately in need of replacing/cleaning. There were cigarette burn holes on the bedspread. As a mom and kid traveling by themselves, it didn't feel safe enough. There is an attached Indian restaurant, when we pulled in the first thing we noticed was trash piled up all over the place, along with caution tape across the front entrance of the hotel. While the front desk staff were very kind, we couldn't handle the strong smell of the room."
