Caledon Grace Guesthouse

Caledon Grace is truly a gem! We were so surprised on arrival at how beautiful the grounds were - somehow even better than the photos! And the interior of the house is just as beautiful, and comfortable. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area and would strongly recommend Caledon Grace to anyone visiting Caledon!

We were greeted with friendliness. We enjoyed the stay and received a wonderful and beautiful room. The breakfast with the view was exquisite and delicious.

I hate to write bad reviews however I felt that I needed to share our experience for future guests. We decided to stay outside of Hermanus for New Years to visit family and experience the beautiful countryside. Upon arrival the grounds looked lovely. Upon entry of the Old Manor House guest room, we immediately realized the room was not as advertised with lush bathroom and tub, instead it had a poorly installed shower with no hot water or working lights in the bathroom. We later also realized that the room was located right next to the car park and kitchen with poor sound insulation or blinds to prevent light glare or privacy in the bedroom so we were awake at 5am on New Years morning. The room had a tea / coffee point but no kettle which we also had to request. The breakfast was disappointing on New Year’s Day, I had to get a decent coffee in Hermanus. We requested a fix for the hot water and bathroom lights however after a second failed attempt at a hot shower we showered in the outhouse the night before we checked out early. We also did not take breakfast on our final day. The staff are friendly and helpful but as seen the issues were not adequately resolved and thankfully the owners refunded the early check out period. It could have been a wonderful romantic New Years stay but sadly it was disappointing and it’s down on our poor experience list.

Beautiful place. So tranquil. Booked for two nights ended up staying for three nights. The staff Lorenzo and Lucian was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are big with lovely decor and great views. We are certainly looking forward to returning.

The most beautiful guesthouse perfectly situated near Die Woud venue. We stayed here for our wedding weekend with family and friends and it couldn't have been more perfect. Beautiful rooms, with amazing garden and vineyards for photo's. Incredibly spacious with everything we could possibly need. Both Nikki and Michel are amazing hosts and King was there the entire time to take care of absolutely everything. This accommodation is highly recommended. And you won't find better breakfast anywhere!!

Our family group of 22 enjoyed our stay. The guesthouse is amazing with beautiful rooms, a variety of options with different configurations - double rooms, cottage with double and single bed, rooms with double bed and two bunk beds, generous breakfast, ample and comfortable communal areas - garden, boma, lounge, stoep and we could use the large kitchen.
