Bayfront Hotel Cebu Capitol Site recensioner

Very disappointed with our stay this time! We tried to contact the hotel directly via the given contact number to let them know we would be arriving very late many times and nobody picked up our call, the phone was ringing but unanswered. (See image) We arrived shortly after 10:20pm, once we checked in, we requested at the front desk 2x extra pillows and 2x extra large towels. These are charged extra and non-refundable. It was nice we were given the same room as on our last visit. The extra pillows and towels arrived quickly to us in the room. However the problems started there. Upon inspection of the bedding we discovered found a number of black stains on the bed sheet. Some were directly hidden under the blue decorative bed ribbon. The 2x extra pillows we requested and paid for had big orange coloured stains visible through the linen pillowcases. (See images) The 2 extra large towels we requested and paid for were old, grey and also had stains on them. (See images) It took 2 calls to front desk, and under 30mins for housekeeping to show up. Finally once everything was sorted its was over almost an hour from our first call to the front desk! We told the housekeeping team to inform the duty manager and front desk that we would like a response back. We showed the house keeping Team the images we x1had taken and informed them we would be checking out at early around 8am. Come 8am, we checked out and no response was given to us for the poor housekeeping standard during our second, one night stay. Such a same, as we will be returning to Cebu 02 to 05 Dec 2023 and have now chosen a different hotel.

They have great rooms and nice swimming pool the staff are great. Please have good handling at your buffet . Have a good cleaner in the resto

It was a good hotel with nice staffs, the swimming pool was well maintained and the room comes with amnesties. Breakfast food was great.

Hotel was located a bit too far from main area. Room was nice and clean however lack of hand towels was frustrating. Both towels and linen needs to be updated. On the plus pool area is lovely and nice to be able to order food and drinks.

Clean and spacious room. CR is not spacious but nothing to complain about. Breakfast buffet is just fine, not something to rave about. What I don't like is the quality of the pillows. They need to buy new ones.

Bayfront Hotel Cebu - Capitol Site has a convenient location, being very close to pasalubong shops, malls, and restaurants, making it easy to explore and access essentials during your stay. The breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety of tasty dishes to start the day. However, my experience was marred by several issues. The coffee cup in my room was leaking, and even after requesting a replacement, the second cup also had the same problem. I asked for another one, but the attendant never returned, which was disappointing and showed a lack of follow-through. The bidet in the bathroom wasn’t working properly, which was inconvenient, and the room lacked basic facial tissues, offering only toilet paper. Additionally, the towels, though clean, had a brownish tint that made them look old and unappealing. While the staff were polite and the location is excellent, the issues with room amenities and service need attention. With some improvements, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience.

This hotel is great. The price is reasonable and fair when considering the room quality, the service and the amenities. The rooftop deck is comfortable and the pool is nice too. The people from the hotel and at the front desk are very arranging and have customer satisfaction in mind. I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a pleasant experience in Cebu City.
