One bedroom, with a King Size Bed, and a full bathroom with shower. The floor plan includes a living room, dining area, and full kitchen (open concept), Cable TV and WiFi. The Cabin has a covered front porch to enjoy some fresh air and relaxation.Why this property ? When looking for property to purchase, we immediately fell in love with the grounds and the comfortable feel of the property. It is away from the center of town, yet close enough to be in downtown in less than 3 minutes. He was instrumental in the development of Lipitor, Seldane, Mucinex, Sudafed and smoking cessation drugs, just to name a few. The Dr. Okerholm Loghaus was once a dog trot, built mainly of wide yellow poplar logs with a few oak logs mixed in. It originally stood near Parsons, Tennessee, circa 1820. If you were expecting 6 and only 4 showed up (which is verifiable), we will happily refund your overpayment. PARKING: Due to underground utilities, driving or parking on grassy areas is prohibited. Parking or driving on grassy areas just feet away from paved areas places expensive plumbing and septic significantly at risk of thousands of dollars in damages. Repair fees will be passed along to the guest who incurred them. PARK ON PAVED AREAS ONLY. THEFT/”BORROWING” FROM OTHER HOUSES: We presently have three guest houses on property. Unless you book multiple houses, the other houses and their amenities are not for your enjoyment. Do not remove firewood, furniture or anything else you find useful from another guest house for your stay without our prior consent. Just because no one is present now doesn’t mean they won’t be arriving later. Each of our houses are stocked inside and out in preparation for the next guest. Permission is always required, forgiveness can be given, but requires additional billing. GUESTS RE-DESIGNING OUR PROPERTY: Under no certain terms are you or any members of your party to assist in modifying our landscape or design of our houses. (No cutting of trees, rearranging furniture for your personal desires with the exception of chairs to accommodate your guests). Any outside furniture is intended to stay outside. Indoor furniture, pillows of any kind and white linens of any kind are never to be taken to be used outdoors.ADDITIONAL DÉCOR FOR ALL TO SEE: Please refrain from using phallic or obvious potentially offensive décor outside your guest house for other guests on property to see. You have to open & close a road gate, then drive a very bumpy pasture road about 1/4 mile through the woods to this cabin. If you're still reading this, then you may want to be a guest here. This place is best suited for outdoorsy & somewhat adventurous travelers. It is a no frills, nothing fancy home located near the middle of a 180 acre ranch, but only about 10 miles from the bustling Main St. Of Fredericksburg. The place is very basic; cozy, quiet & comfortable. The ranch setting offers outdoor privacy & invites relaxation.Don't bring your white gloves. This is what country folks call a camphouse. This cabin provides the fairly unique opportunity to experience the privacy of acreage, woods and fields, yet still be very convenient to the "full-on-go" of the Fredericksburg experience.The cabin is well insulated; cool in summer and warm in winter. This is a nice BASIC ACCOMMODATION. It does NOT have all the amenities of the program style B&Bs. For example the bathroom is just a regular tub and shower combination. There is NO HOT TUB and NO CABLE TV,... but there is Internet and WIFI. You should be able to stream some content using the Roku device, but if you are counting on watching that particular “big game”, this is probably not the place you want to book.An electric drip coffee maker with coffee and all the typical coffee related supplies is provided. An electric kettle and some tea is also provided.Cellular service is limited here. AT&T provides a good 2-3 bar LTE signal in this area. HOWEVER **** SPRINT, VERIZON and T-MOBILE have “VERY POOR” or “NONEXISTENT” cellular signals at this property. If you are heavily reliant on your phone, and don’t have AT&T, you may be very frustrated at this property.If you book this property you will be able to check yourself in at the property.
