Located at 12537 Piney Ridge Road, Huntingdon PA, the cabin sits on approximately 5 acres of open views on top of Piney Ridge Road. Everything is conveniently located within a 10 minute drive, including shopping, restaurants, and swimming. State College and Altoona is also about a 40 minute drive. Enjoy the beauty and peacefulness, and wildlife, while sitting on the front porch. Or enjoy a nighttime campfire at the fire-pit. Firewood is NOT provided. Cabin has most comforts of home, including TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee pot. Free Wi-Fi is also provided. We provide linens and towels and just ask that you bring beach towels for swimming at the lake. Within a half mile is a "no outlet" road that you can park at the end and take the trail that leads to the lake, for fishing or swimming. Plenty of parking if you bring a boat too. Also located on the property, separate booking, is a brand new 37ft camper that sleeps 6-7 comfortably. The living room has upholstered furniture and offers cable TV, internet/wifi and there is also a DVD player. The kitchen includes a full size electric range with oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeepot, toaster, cookware and dinnerware. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs. We provide pillows, blankets and bedspreads. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room We provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a bath mat. The bathroom has a shower (no tub), toilet and sink. We are located 6.5 miles south of Huntingdon. We are 5 miles from Allegrippis Trail for biking enthusiasts and Raystown Lake for water sports. The rolling countryside includes creeks and the Juniata River offering many options for hiking, birdwatching, fishing, hunting, boating, whatever the nature-lover desires.
