Hurricane Helene Update: Our cabins are in good shape. Our lakefront and first pond have been damaged and are being repaired. The construction at our lakefront to remove sediment from the lake from Hurricane Helene has finished and the lake is deeper than it has been in many years! We are very grateful for the work the Corps of Engineers and their subcontractors have done. The lake is now full pond! Romantic cabin overlooking one of our private ponds. We are near Chimney Rock, Asheville and The Biltmore House. We are only 1/4 mile from the site where the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. We are only 18 miles from the new Tryon International Equestrian Resort. Our cozy one bedroom log cabin is built for couples and has a hot tub. We are located in the Town of Lake Lure and only one mile south of the charming mountain Village of Chimney Rock, NC. For no extra cost we have canoes, horseshoes, private fishing ponds, and a dock on beautiful Lake Lure. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna.
