Sink with running water, k-cup coffee maker, mini-fridge, cooler and gas grill are just some of the amenities you will enjoy during your stay. You will have your own free off street parking spot. On the way to the cabin, you will see the porta-potty that is cleaned out weekly and sanitized between each guest. It is stocked with plenty of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, body wipes and sanitizing wipes! Our guests always rave that our porta-potty's are the cleanest they've ever seen.This getaway is perfect for those who are not convinced about camping in a tent just yet but are willing to test the waters in an actual cabin with windows, shades and a door! Nature is calling you but you'd rather sleep with the comfort of solid surroundings and air conditioning or heating. We get it! THIS is for you! So book your stay today....you will not regret it!When the temperatures drop, usually in November, we must turn off the water hose in order to preserve the hose and keep it from freezing. During those times, we suggest bringing in water that you will use on a daily basis. We will provide you with a supply of paper plates, cups and plastic utensils! Water is typically turned back on in April. Unfortunately, we can't say exactly when in April as it truly depends on Mother Nature! Temperatures need to be above 40 degrees for multiple days before we can turn the water back on!While we are located in a neighborhood, cell phone service can be spotty. We personally have not had any issues. Street parking is free and plentiful.Other things to noteThis is mountain life…with that comes the wildlife , please be mindful and drive carefully as deer are always on the roads.The cabin is located at the top of a hill, during the winter and in snowy conditions a 4x4 or snow chains is needed as it can get very slippery !There is no A/C during the summer months , we have always got on fine without as temperature drops down at night time. There is a ceiling fan in the main space and plug in fans provided in the bedrooms.
