(pictures attached!)We're not used to writing bad reviews but unfortunatey this time I feel that we owe it to the travel community to say what we have to say. So, first off, they put us in a room that was not the one we booked. We are a marries couple so we booked a "Boutique double room" which looks quite good in pictures. Instead they put us in aa single room, which means the bed was smaller (atill for 2 people but smaller), and the room was at least half the size of what we originally has booked. The big window at the side of the bed was not there but rather it ea very small and quite far fro the bed as you can see in the pictures. But then the bathroom!: the shower wasn't in a closed space but rather it was just a shower head pactically above the toilet seat, making the whole tiny bathroom wet and unusable after taking a simple shower. Water pressure is also very bad and the temperature was just warm, never hot, which coming in February was very bad, as you get cold during the shower given it has no shower screen. The worst of all, was the pungent, persistent awful smell in the whole room coming from the bathroom. It is probably because of all the humidity the room has. We were put in room 333 specifically. We passed by other rooms whule they were being cleaned and I truly believe our room was the worst of all, even though we had booked for a good room. The walls and the corners of the room were quite dirty. We also wanted to boil some water to make instant noodles but found out the kettle had water from who knows when, and smelled awful. Both nights we had to sleep with the window oipen because of this awful smell, which in february meant we got cold during the night. There was a bit of black mould in the shower, too.
We complained about the room not being the one we payed for to the staff, hoping they would solve the situation so that I wouldn't have to write this review. But they told us taht they basically only had 1 other room available for us and only for th second night, but it was a twin room so still much worse than what we originally wanted. So basically they didn't do anything. I asked the price of the room we booked to the staff because maybe we had made a mistake, but when she told us the price, ti was exactly what we had payed for.
Also, the wifi in the room does not work, so we had to go down to the lobby to simply use our phones or computer. If you're counting on workign from your room, don't.
