Nostalgia Hotel（KuanZhai Alley ChengDu）

The best hotel in Chengdu in terms of services and cleanliness. The staffs here were very friendly and passionate to assist me in pretty much everything, they also put a smile on the face after my checked-in and checked-out, also the manager, i guess, helped me carrying my luggage in the car, i was grateful for that. The room was clean although the size was a little bit small, but it worked, amenities are plenty especially water. The air-conditioner was weak, the breakfast was awesome with several choices of food. The location is near Tonghuimen Station. So far i have been impressed by the wonderful hospitality and will be returning again.

Staff were super friendly Amenities super great, they even provided little snacks and yogurt drinks everyday. There’s a coffee machine in the lobby, it’s great for coffee lover Room super comfy, they even provided the facial towel, which is super caring. Even 5 star hotel never provide the facial towel. Location was super great too, walking distance to Kuan Zhai alley and train station

Very good service, a lot free snack and free gift given by the hotel crew! Literally so sweet the hotel crew. We can even wash our clothes and iron our clothes there, all is free. Every night they will have free porridge and dessert for us. Literally the hotel that provide the most snack and food for freee that is not a 4/5 star hotel.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The pictures of the room online perfectly matched the actual room. The service is exceptionally attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping, with even handwritten notes and small gifts in the room. There are some Han outfits to wear and take pictures in the hotel for free, the pictures came out very well. Laundry room was also useful. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Nostalgia Hotel! They offer service and amenities that is above and beyond. Anything that travellers need, they can provide. Metro station and KuanZhai Alley is within walking distance. Will definitely return if I am back at Chengdu.

The hotel was nice and clean but a bit overpriced for comparable service we received other places. Good location 10 minute walk from metro stop

Location was alright. Quite abit of walking to get to the metro station. Nothing much nearby. But kuan zhai alley is within walking distance! Service was amazing. Especially xiao hong, made the effort to call a cab for us and carried our items up to the taxi. Not forgetting the other staffs, they were also very friendly and well mannered. Thank you all for the great stay! Room was smaller than the other 3 hotels we have been to during this trip. So might be abit cramp if you have luggages. But the space is clean 😊 One thing that was abit unpleasant is the smoking smell that entered our room in the middle of the night. Should be via the aircon system. It made us felt so suffocating! But this is not the hotel fault. I believe its more of the other rooms guest smoking in their room.

I’m a traveler from Malaysia and found this hotel providing very good service, from front desk, house keeping as well as the restaurant. Just that the air conditioning control panel is not that user friendly and I spent quite some times to figure out how does it work. A long hold is required to switch it on. The breakfast is good too, besides all the free snack and goodies. The hotel is generous in providing drinking bottled water. Overall, a very pleasant stay of my 3 nights in Chengdu.

FANTASTIC! My friend and I had a great stay at Nostalgia Hotel (KuanZhai Alley ChengDu). The location is very convenient, just a 5-6 minute walk to the metro, and we loved the hospitality of the staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we communicated like friends. Thank you for hosting us. The warm gestures, like reminding us to have a light supper before bed after returning late at night, helping us with laundry, giving us eye masks, and leaving small notes, were overwhelming! The hotel breakfast was good, and we were lucky to stay during the Chinese Dumpling Festival and got to taste bak zhang in ChengDu style! Yes, the room might be smaller, but it was sufficient, and the hotel's ambiance is cozy. I've already recommended it to a friend who will be visiting ChengDu soon, and they have booked their stay. I will definitely come back! Thanks again.
