Alishan Gou Hotel recensioner

It is a 3-minute walk from Zhaoping Station. There is also a shuttle bus to the hotel. The staff does not speak English well, but they try their best and are kind. The room and bedding are clean, and the room temperature is warm. We were worried because the rating was not high, but we were satisfied with everything during our stay and recommend it.

The location was excellent. Beds very comfortable. There are specific hot water times for showering; the water comes out piping hot with good pressure. Photos are within 5 min walk from the hotel.

Watching the sea of clouds, sunset, sunrise, hiking along Mianyue line, and walking on the routes of the Forest Recreation Area at or from this Hotel, very likely is your best choice when visiting Alishan National Forest Recreation Area.

Near to 沼平 station and trail walk. Hotel does provide shuttle van to and fro alishan station.

Big beds, cozy room. Would prefer the hotel to offer snacks as there are no restaurants nearby

The hotel is located in the middle of forest park, very near to cherry blossom trail and train station. The room is clean and spacious. Plus point: there is free shuttle to the entrance of the park. What can be improved: providing optional breakfast for hotel guests.

This hotel is in a great location inside of the park. I had the best night sleep here out of my whole Taiwan trip. The only complaint was we plugged two phones into one outlet and it tripped the breaker and had to be reset by a staff member.

this is a good hotel, got shuttle bus service. But need to go to town to get food, which I would rather book a hotel which is at the town area next time.

The reception during check-in was not friendly as other Taiwan hotels. Especially for Alishan hotels, most of them are really nice and helpful to answer questions but the lady we encountered was impatient to answer my questions.

Room was extremely clean and pleasant. Location was within the Alishan National Park which made it really easy to start the walking trail the following morning.

Only bad hotel we’ve stayed at in Taiwan. Not entirely obvious when booking but the hotel is located about a mile into the park with no car access. You’re stuck relying on the hotel shuttle which runs infrequently on an inexplicable schedule. The staff was abysmal - one desk clerk directly lied to us about the bus schedule, leading us to almost miss our train home. Everywhere else we’ve been in Taiwan, people have been wonderful. Speaking with the staff here was like talking to a brick wall. Would be a lovely hotel under better management.

The location of this hotel is great. It is a small walking distance to the train station to catch sun rise.   If you are driving to Alisan, you will need to park near the visitor center and take a shuttle bus to the hotel.  You may need to note on the last bus from visitor center to hotel else you need to walk quite a distance into the hotel. There is no restaurant in the hotel so you need to settle your meals outside of the hotel.

The hotel is in bug space and the location is convenient. Although the hotel is not close with food street but they provide shuttle for customer. Additional, it was walking distance to the train station and Attraction area.
