We stayed two nights and had two front rooms with balconies overlooking the valley - What a view! The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and our hosts, Aris and his wife, were lovely and provided a very nice breakfast. Aris was helpful with walking tips. The location couldn't be better. Parking involves a bit of tight manoeuvring but is either right outside or in the garage space in the building. We would be delighted to return one day.

Very comfortable guesthouse overlooking the valley below and mountains above. Up from the main street and very quiet. The guesthouse itself is lovely and so well cared for. Breakfast was great. Hara and Aris were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the hiking routes in the area which were well worth experiencing. Other staff were quick to respond and took excellent care of the rooms each day. My son and I had adjoining rooms which was very convenient. Cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough and this beautiful mountain area in Greece.

This is a fantastic place to stay, Aris and Hara were wonderful hosts, they helped with routes, cases, places to visit. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh omlettes and pies and cakes everyday. Views are spectacular, and very close to the town. Places to park too if you have a car. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Friendly, welcoming couple run this great and affordable guesthouse. They speak English well. Wonderful views of the village and a short walk into town. You get your own parking spot in a garage below the guesthouse, which is very handy. The Menalos Trail runs right behind the guesthouse. Good size rooms with a fridge and heat. Good breakfast starts at 8 AM. Coffee houses nearby for an earlier start. Our hosts were very helpful when we were deciding on where to hike and gave clear directions when Google Maps failed us.

Welcomed by the lovely owners, Hara and Aris, this special, family run guest house is a wonderful place to stay. If you are in a room with a balcony, the view is breathtaking. No need for AC!! The cool breeze in the mountains flows through the room and the sounds of birds and insects can be heard through the mosquito nets although no mosquitoes live at thus altitude. Perfectly located minutes from small town, there are plenty of tavernas. The breakfast is amazing and pastries and other treats are home made by Hara. Hara has a great knowledge of the area and was happily suggesting walks, the best roads and local places to visit. Off street parking in this small village is useful.

We decided to go up the mountains to the beautiful village of Dimitsana and spent the night. Through a local recommendation we got to the wonderful Amanites guesthouse. Luckily they still had one room available. The warm welcome of Aris and Charis was wonderful. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely furniture, comfortable and very clean. All the amenities were very good. breakfast in the cozy dinning area was rich & tasty. A small library with travel books and maps are available. Charis took her time and helped us plan the remaining of our trip. Thank you for hosting us with such great elegance and nobility. Neta &Aviram

Dimitsana is a beautiful village and this hotel is number one for a reason. The staff who run the hotel are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Additionally, our room had a small balcony with a lovely view of the village. We spent time doing some walking along parts of the Menalon trail, having dinner in the town and just relaxing.

Amazing place. Hara was a very attentive and gracious host. We stayed here as part of a hiking trip on the Menalon Trail. Great breakfast, nice clean rooms, great view. Dimitsana is a charming little village and the trek from Stemnitsa very beautiful.
